Can we not appeal his red card, it's only a one match ban, at least he can play against Tottenham and probably Everton, giving us time to get hutch fit, even if the appeal fails and he gets another game he is not likely to get back in the side before hutch, and certainly there is nowhere for him in midfield in this team

You can't appeal a red card in those circumstances. It would be deemed frivolous and lead to a further game ban.
Wilson will probably get two games anyway because he was on four bookings before today.
