I bet you can imagine my glee last week when we were 10th and they only one place above us :-) :-) obnoxious bunch of tossers !! Yep, heard the same, ie champion league, fa cup etc etc Win, or lose, i wear my Stoke top every Sat night, they WERE wearing theirs, not any more, back in the cupboard till they win again !! I had a dream last night that we played and beat Soton in the semi-finals of the FA Cup this season.
I wonder if it will come true as it was very realistic (apart from Alan Ball playing for us).
Note to self; stop eating cheese late at night and remember to take your meds.

Wrighter, your really are going to have to get over this hatred of anything Southampton. Your comment about wearing their, or not wearing( note I say THEIR as I am Stoke born and bred) shirts is absolute rubbish.I would say that Saints and Skate supporters are probably 2 of the best local shirt wearers in the country.
Now take your beloved Bournemouth, I have friends down there and visit regularly and I would say without fear of contradiction that I see more shit, arse, chelsea and the rest of the glory hunters shirts than cherries.
As for the banter about champions league and the rest, yes I get it all the time as well, but are we not the same when we are doing well?
I came to see Stoke play here in the late 60s and even as a teenager was impressed with the city and happened by pure chance to be based here while in the merchant navy and have not given 1 thought of moving back to the potteries area.
Well that's MY rant over, Merry Christmas.

Well that's MY rant over, Merry Christmas. NO WAY will i change my mind re; my absolute loathing of Southampton. You dont live down this way do you ? Its been the same for ages, when they went down to Div 1, the " fans " were absent from all local venues/pubs/clubs as tho they hibernated !! Now, back in the Prem, out they come from hibernation, and they are everywhere, giving shit to me, Cherries fans and Pompey fans, saying they will win this/that zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Taken loads of abuse from them, and guess what, a run of 6 games without a win, and hey presto, they have disappeared............again !! Yes, lots of Chelski/Arse/Manure shirts around these parts, but that happens everywhere. Thanks Kronkie for your concerns and Xmas wishes, but till the day they put me in a wooden box, my feelings wont change EVER Merry Christmas to you too

They've spent in excess of 80m over two years yet don't have strength in depth...
Not easy to build squads as we know...

What sort of grown-men wear football shirts when they aren't at a football match or playing football!?

What sort of grown-men wear football shirts when they aren't at a football match or playing football!? There are a couple if other occasionsthat I'll wear mine to be honest. I like wearing mine 'around the house' , normally last seasons. Then there's the summer, footy tops are good to wear then, but only brand new ones.
