I was wondering whether anyone knew of any good artists that do local prints/ paintings in an industrial style? I remember a few years ago I saw a post on here with a lowry style print of the victoria ground but cant for the life of me remember who the artist was. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

You're thinking of Sid Kirkham, I believe. The Art Bay Gallery in Fenton has prints and originals.

I think that the artist that you're thinking of is Sid Kirkham who is based in Christchurch Street Fenton.
I've just found this via Google.

You're thinking of Sid Kirkham, I believe. The Art Bay Gallery in Fenton has prints and originals. My brother had me pick up a picture from there for him and take it down to pompey where he lives now, it was the style the OP is talking about. Just because my brother lives in pompey, he wasn't an admiral

Funnily enough quite a lot of my family is from Portsmouth. They didn't half lord it over us when they won the FA Cup even though I told them they'd bought it and would have to suffer the consequences later. We had a football connection and when my uncle died Pompey sent a wreath to the funeral and a player representative. Quite a good family club really that lost its head with Big 'arry but I hope they return.
Anyway I'm admiral not because of Portsmouth but because of Worcester. Long story.
We've bougt a few paintings from the Art Bay - it's a wonderful place that supports loads of local artists and local football. We have an original of Sid Kirkham called "Three Generations" and it looks just like my dad, myself and my daughter all going to the game together. As soon as I saw it I had to have it.
