Went to see Cast at the O2 in Liverpool last night. The band were mighty fine, it has to be said. What slightly marred the night, however was the numbers of Liverpool fans at the gig singing about being 'top of the League', at the end of every song. They are obviously excited as it's a rare occurrence these days. I mentioned to a Liverpool-supporting mate there (who was around in the 70s, also), that I remember us being top of the league at Christmas (following the away win at Birmingham, and the Jimmy Greenhoff wonder goal). Unfortunately, for us (and hopefully for them come May)it didn't last. For starters, here's hoping they get smashed at the Brit on the 12th January. No pressure, lads!

I'm not a fan of Liverpool, but it's much better seeing them there than The Arse.
By the end of the season I think that Man City will be runaway leaders.

There's a few on here looking a bit daft predicting Rogers would be out of his depth, proving them wrong isn't he. Top 4 at least for them this season

They sound like proper as Scousers, not their ever growing gang if tourists and if so good luck to them. I was in a Manchester on Friday night to see OCS (who were on top, top form too), luckily the Mancs have less to sing about...

Don't think they will be there very long.
They are too dependant on Suarez, so will falter when he loses form, gets injured, or suspended after his next misbehaviour.
They do not have depth of talent, ManC, Chelsea, and ManU have.

Been tipping em for weeks that they will win it this season, lack of Euro games is a huge factor.....

To be fair I've got Liverpool mates and they don't think they are going to win the league top 4 is what they are hoping for they're just enjoying the ride at the minute, and how would we we be if we managed to get top even if it was for just one week the place and on here would be buzzing. The league at the moment is mad look at Arsenal, yesterday morning they were top if they lose tomorrow they're fourth.

They do not have depth of talent, ManC, Chelsea, and ManU have. They didn't do too badly witout Suarez for the first 5 games when Daniel Sturridge was banging them in. They've got much more strength in depth than Man Utd. Look at Man Utd's midfield.

I'd love Everton to finish above them.
They won't win the title but should make top 3. For me:
Man C Arsenal Liverpool Chelsea
