I was told a few weeks ago that Arnie was not fitting into the team spirit at all, I thought nothing of it really as I knew we had a clique from the Pulis regime.
But today is my first home game since I was told this, and I decided to pay attention to what he was doing and how he interacted with others.
On the pitch he didn't talk much, apart from moaning at the ref.
Half time - him and Marc Wilson were having a right old argument on the outside of the tunnel - to the point that pieters pulled Wilson and shoved him down the tunnel - totally ignoring arnie.
Obviously he was subbed at half time, and he came back out all wrapped up just as we scored - he did not react at all, he just pulled his hood over his head.
The most interesting part for me was when he tried to find a seat on the bench. Not ONE player let arnie in to sit down, he literally had to climb over people to get to the seat at the back - and didn't speak to anyone all game.
Now I hope him making an issue of nothing - but he doesn't look interested and going off todays attitude I don't think the team are fond of him.

He is a problem because of his lack of interest and effort you could understand the other players not being happy with him for me he is one of the worst players I have ever seen in the premier league for Stoke we are playing with 10 men when he is in the side

We took a chance on him and didn't pay too much and so far I can understand why!

That says more about the rudeness of our other players imo.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that he is only interested in himself. Looks totally disinterested half the time and when he does get the ball he thinks hes a one man show. Not only that, he looks to hit the Hollywood ball more often than not and it rarely pays off because in all honesty, hes not as good as he thinks he is.

He's wank. Decent first time control, but the rest of his game is pap. He's getting shown up week-on-week. Today was the icing on the cake. Utter crap.
Taken off at half time because you've had such a poor first half? This rarely happens in modern football. Today MH made an exception.

End of the day, in a big group of blokes, there's always someone that you wouldn't get on with. As long as he earns his money then he can be as moody as he wants, but today was his worst game so far, the the point of unacceptable. He needs to get the sand out of his fanny and earn his place.

He has a lot of skill but he is almost as idle as KJ. Shame!

Main problem is he's totally and utterly shit, one of if not the worst 45 minutes I've witnessed from a Stoke player, again utterley shit. Attitude stinks and he looks as if he thinks he's doing a favour by lazying around in a Stoke shirt. Second half much, much better without him off the pich.

From what I've seen down at Clayton etc. - the lads love him.
He didn't have the best of games today, argued with the refs and was just in a bad mood - it really is nothing at all.

Wasn't it Mourinho who said Arnie had the mind set of a child? I imagine he will be one of those players who needs alot of attention and man management, more so than football coaching. Expect Arnie to turn up vs the top four clubs and rip them apart, which will be even more frustrating for us as stoke supporters when he can't be arsed against the lower teams, not sure whether we can afford that luxury. I'm sticking with him for now, but only just.

He seems like a lazy bugger, and once he loses the ball, which is very often, he stands watching, looking disgusted or pissed off. I'm vary disappointed in him, and should he be left on the bench for some time, I don't think he'll be badly missed. He certainly isn't contributing much.I don't know how good he is, or can bem because so far he's not shown anything.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. He is going to be one of those players who is unpredictable and some times it will come off and sometimes it will not. Give him some more time and let's see what happens. Was always going to be a bit of a project when we signed him.

Too early to call in some respects. There is a player in there, he was isolated and unloved in Germany and needs turning around. Probably still has a defensive shell up to protect himself, needs some TLC to bring him round as well as some home truths. Once he understands that he is receiving honest appraisals without an agenda he will have to conform or get out. He was always going to be a challenge, let's see if Sparky can rise to it. He in turn needs to recognise that he is in the last chance saloon if he is to be as good as he thinks he is.

Judging by Hughes after match interview he's onto Arni and quite rightly too.
Enjoyed listening to Hughes with the reason why he subbed him now I just hope that's given him a kick up the arse.

The lad is a talent and those saying he's shit have obviously got a different standard from mine. Yes he's not contributed as much as expected however I think most of this is down to his attitude a bit like Fuller he just requires a different form of man management something Hughes is no doubt working on. The lad is still very much adapting to the league and the pace I full expect to see him running the show/ MOM performance from him soon.

All this potential garbage really pisses me off, he's utter shit. If you have a "little" potential" you need to carry out the basics such as controlling the ball, passing the ball simply and not constantly trying to roll the player marking you without the ball. Adds nothing to our game and we can't carry a player who's not even Championship level, terrible player and there's not a player in him or ever will be.

Why can't people be allowed to have both positive and negative opinions about a match, regardless of the result? Surely far better than exclusively singing when you're winning or moaning when you're losing, wouldn't you have thought?

Offers absolutely nothing to the team, might as well play with 10 men.
I thought he'd be better behind Crouch but he was worse than Walters behind Crouch. I really don't know what to do with him besides maybe use him as an impact player for last 15 mins.
