Or do you still think of it as our second home?
I'm warming to the cold, windy place.
She's more than just a stadium now, she's part of Stoke City - and hopefully, the Premier League soon.
;D

yes, just
I've lived in this house 10 years too, and still say I'm off home for the weekend when I go back to stoke
The Vic will live with me till I die, but its gone and nothing will change that , we have been at the Brit 10 years , and its starting to feel more like a home with every passing year IMHO

The brit would feel more like home if they made it feel that way.
My biggest moan about the place is that they've never named the stands after anyone.
They should never have named the North stand the Boothen End - there was only one.

anyone been past the vic recently, i nearly cried last time i saw it!
what was on the spot where i used to stand?
fucking massive lump of dog sht! - shame on the councl for not sorting it out, how about the money spent on their expenses goes into building a museum to commemorate one of stokes true landmarks?

Yes it feels like home - although like most homes it could do with a bit of updating after 11 years. I agree with Smeegs though, I'd have like the stands to be named after famous Stoke heros. The Tony Waddington Stand and the Sir Stanley Matthews Stand for a start..........

The atmosphere at the Vic was totally different. I remember when you had to walk past the away fans to get to the Boothen. The PA system at the Brit tends to drown out all the fans, so an atmosphere can be hard to generate. In answer to your question, no it doesn't feel like home.

Mathews stand (JS) Franklin Stand (Seddon) & the away end should be the Gordon Banks Stand
& they should open a huge pub & name it after Hudson!

they wont name stands after players and managers they already have waddo's suite and sir stans way and the statues of stan richie and a gordon banks 1 on the way christ some people are never happy and by the way its not up to the club to make it feel like home its up to us fans

It's never going to have quite the place in my heart the Vic had because it's where it all started for me, but this season the Brit's come alive for me in ways it hasn't before. If things go the right way I'm hoping next weekend's going to seal the deal, once we've all got a big special memory of the Brit that should take us there.
