Awesome tonight and never relented in his talking, then again he never dies and is a fabulous leader.

As good as Ryan was I thought Wilson was even better. The lad as stepped in these last couple of weeks and looked a class act Can't argue with this. Me neither, Wilson was superb. Lost count of the number of times he just stepped in at the right time and stopped a potential attack from developing. Less obvious than Shawcross but I thought both were excellent.

Aka someone doing his defending for him. we are struggling in both full back areas, muniesa struggled badly again and Cameron is a constant worry defensively, the centre backs at times are getting dragged out of position too many times, but as the game wore on our midfield took over tonight and we didn't look in too much trouble I think we're stuck with these full backs hopefully they'll learn quickly Cameron a constant worry defensively? That's crazy. He wins the ball back in the final third quite often, has not been responsible for more goals than any other defender this season. Our defense has had to adjust since the days of the Pulis cage, but our starting four plus Wilson have all been good this year. If our fullbacks are going to attack, the center halves will have to provide cover. If Ryan is good enough for the England team, which I think he is, he should be able to handle that.

shawcross has been superb, I was perhaps going through a spell of worry when sagbo had his chance, I thought shawcross should have been tighter in the build up we've been comfortable most of this half, wish we had some firepower don,t be bullied by the Shawcross fan club or change your name to Back Track Pete Shawcross was the second best center half tonight

it was just a comment made in the heat of the game, at that point i thought he was struggling a bit. perhaps i was also thinking about his defending for the first Chelsea goal last week.
i did change my mind soon afterwards and accept the point other posters made about it being the full backs fault that he was being pulled about a bit.
lord knows why i thought it was a good idea to post my thoughts at that point of the game! overall he was consistent as always in a pretty uneventful and shit game

"The Shawcross fan club".
Otherwise known as all right-thinking Stoke City supporters.

I think Wilson was great, but Shawcross nicked it for me.

To be fair, Shawcross and Wilson is looking a pretty decent partnership. If it continues Hughesy's got a difficult decision when Huth's fit!!

well the Sky Sports team dont agree with you. I think Wilson was great, but Shawcross nicked it for me. so you agree with Sky Sports all the time, do you think they are always right Shawcross quite clearly had a good game tonight. To suggest otherwise would be ridiculous, i'm sure you'll agree. So why, after a good performance can't you come on here and give the bloke some credit. Fair enough, if you rate Wilson's performance above Ryan's (I respectfully disagree), but all this 'Shawcross fan club' bollocks is getting tiresome. As you well know, I rate Shawcross massively, but if he has a bad game, i'll come out and say it (as I did after the Swansea game) but you seem incapable of giving him any praise whatsoever.

He was fine, I don't get the not hatred for Shawcross on here but the seeming willingness to demean him so easily by quite a number, too big a number for my liking on here. He had a stroll in the park today barring the shite marking for the one where Davies should have buried it I think.

Shawcross was excellent as was Wilson as was Curtis Davies.
To think many on here didn't want him and wondered what the fuck the previous manager was thinking of when chasing his signature back in January!
