I thought we did ok .
Strange conditions, an even stranger set of circumstances for their second.
Walters missed a sitter without Man U bossing the game too much.
All bodes well for January.

United have been poor by their standards this season, we could have taken this. Two piss poor goals to concede. Disappointing. Disappoining sums it up pretty well I think. Palacios was doing well before he let Young wander off loose for their first from the free kick. Shawcross injury threw everything into disarray and they capitalised as Whelan went into the RB slot. Assaidi looks way too lightweight. Walters should have done better with a golden chance Pretty much agree mate, but Assaidi can be a game changer, not tonight though. We could do with some quality in but won't hold my breath on that happening. I was not against MH appointment, but I still need convincing. I will soon forget this as long as we produce in the league.

This is where we need a good manager to make the right decisions. Were fucked! He insists on playing your boy, Crouch, Stafford. He must go!

Didn't watch but let me guess Walters? Did he miss yet another sitter or is that too much assuming? Listening to radio off and on. Not down to Walters. Jut not enough going forward from the entire team. He did miss 2 golden chances though

They both did well mate but personally I thought Geoff got stretched a little too often by Young in the first half. Palacios was pretty good but we were lacklustre all over the park and offered very little up front. Shame because that was an average United team.

Should be fielding the strongest possible team, a team that reflects the side he played with similar tactics and approach as at Old Trafford, the second half was a learning curve, and I'm sure Hughesy regrets having to take Arnie off, and the more defensive changes. I can understand the argument for Jones to feature, and would certainly bring him on second half if appropriate. It takes all sorts and all goals count, but Walsall, Tranmere and Brum aren't quite the opposition we'll face later. I wouldn't wish to break up the Walters/Ireland/Crouch/ N'Zonzi/ Arnie interplay. It's getting better, I reckon' Crouch is pivotal. --------------Bego Cameron Shawcross Wilson Pieters --------------Whelan -----------Ireland N'Zonzi ------Walters Crouch Arnautovic Adam, Jones, Assaidi, Palacios, Muniesa, Pennant... injuries/fitness provided. Go on Stoke, conner wait, applying layers. Wood's Rum imminent. This advice was free, but if they need me to sort out the subbing as well as the starting XI then I might have to start charging. Free ticket and a complimentary Wright's Pie will do. Utter unadulterated shite. We graciously hosted a Man U show tonight .. I'm gutted with the gutlessness {from stands to pitch and in t'Town,} of it all.

Very disappointed in the performance and result. ManUre are there for the taking and we let the chance slip away. That being said 3 points against Villa and I'll forgive the dross on offer yesterday.

This was not the Stoke I know, it was gutless. Not one shot on goal and beaten by a third rate reserve team!
