Arnie has moved from the left side to the right to accommodate Assiadi during the last two matches when Walters wasn't on the pitch.
Assiadi is right-footed and during his time on the pitch, he always seems to cut inside from the left wing ( as we saw to great effect with yesterday's magnificent strike!)
Walters is suspended for the next match against Hull, so I wondered if we'd be better leaving Arnie out left and playing Assiadi on the RIGHT wing. That way Assiadi could take on the fullback and get some quality crosses in from the BYE-LINE. I think that Crouch (or Jones) would benefit from that type of service.

It shouldn't be our wingers' job to supply the crosses in this system. Need them in the box or cutting inside and shooting.

It was pretty clear that the tactic was for Bego to clear it to the right wing for first Walters then Arnie to win the aerial challenge v Azpilucueta and nod it on...Assaidi is 5foot 2 so no chance.

I'm not too fond of right wing politics to be honest!

Neither Arnie nor Assaidi are proper wingers and they are not being played as proper wingers but as support strikers/wide players. Ideally the system needs the full backs to provide the majority of the crosses. I'd certainly say that it is worth the wide players swapping sides from time to time but, as both Arnie and Assaidi are both right footed, both are probably going to score more goals from the left.

I was thinking more in terms of 'threading' the ball out to Assiadi on the right wing, rather than 'launching' it from the back.
