Would like to see it from behind the goal. Looked a bit nifty!

More match time for Ireland seems to be working.

Some real cracking goals from both teams, but ours were the best (obviously)

Cracking finish and now caused a huge headache for Hughes next week (if Adam is fit) which can only be good for us. I thought Ireland looked shard and popped up in some cracking positions, he should have scored again

I would Ireland in the team in front of Adam any day pushes forward more and doesn't give stupid fouls away must sign him

An injury then to Adam a blessing in disguise for Ireland?

I'd play both with Adam on the left of midfield. No remit to get forward but just to arc the ball in with his left foot or play in the overlap/throughballs. Replace him with Assaidi with 20 minutes left when he's f*cked.

An injury then to Adam a blessing in disguise for Ireland? For us all, Adam isn't mobile enough to support a lone crouch, Ireland is, we look so much better with him on the pitch

Would like to see it from behind the goal. Looked a bit nifty! Was in block 22, and at first, looked like it was going over, and then the net rustled Get in, great goal, and what a great performance

To be fair mate Adam did well Wednesday and looked fitter than he has done in his time here so his attitude is spot on. I'd go with Ireland because he gets closer to crouch but having them two on form is a great headache

Ireland has a habit of arriving in the box at the right time ,pity he cant stick every chance into the back of the net

Hopefully we'll get this lad signed permanently in January.

I'll be honest and say it was a great goal, but I'd have had him subbed before he scored it as the game was just passing him by. He's scored 2 or 3 quality goals now, but I'm still a long way from convinced by what he brings to the team.

I was about to moan that he didn't square it left to Arnie but he stuck it in before i could open my mouth. Lovely finish. The only bad thing about it was it made the sitter he missed look even worse

On the attack he finds good space and is one of a minority in our squad who seems relaxed to have the ball at his feet and confident enough to get his chin up. He is also a lovely finisher who places his shots (that howler from the Crouch knock-down aside). Defensively, not so much. But is the best complement to a lone striker Hughes has available imo.

I agree with miles! Great finish, but does not track back when he should and has no pace, the game often passes him by. Then again, scored and laid the pass for the third goal. I would really like him to be the real deal, I'm just not convinced at the moment.

Felt like he might be the answer as the 'second striker' today as was football smart enough to follow Crouch's knock downs in that position I can forgive him his lack of tracking back and tackling - still more to come I hope!
