The key is too stay up especially this year, because next summer we get 60/70 million due to the new money, & if Bego does go then, that's an extra 15 mil, so I would seriously expect MH to have at least 30/40 million to spend, & that's when we will see the real changes at the club. Just got to ride the storm this season. If you think Coates is going to sanction that kind of money you're seriously deluded. The old Coates is back - meet the new boss, same as the old boss... I think it's more a case that Denise, her husband and John are probably calling the shots now. I doubt Peter would have got rid of TP if it had been left to him to decide.

Good article - the only thing I would disagree with is that we can somehow revert to type and grind out results - I don't think Pulis would have been "grinding out" enough victories with the lumbering squad he assembled ( more deadwood than Jewson's) to have us any further up the table than we currently are.

You're the one who really likes to re write history aren't you Jones. We never stopped fighting for the course under TP. That is why we survived for five years. We had a team spirit, players and a manager who cared. Interesting that Hughes spouted that he wanted to keep the discipline, hard working, stick together principles of the old regime. Funny that because I haven't witnessed too much of that under him. Hey ho, one year ago today we had beaten WBA away 1-0 and were 9th in the Prem on 22 points................but I'm sure you'll find a way of rewriting that little bit of history too! never surrendered,we surrendered many times under Pullis, that was the whole problem for the last 2 years Also where is this 22 points,13 games played last season we had 3 more points than this season,so not much difference Its correct, at this date last year we had 22 points from 15 games having won at West Brom
