Villa have 16 points and are currently in 10th spot 3 points more than us! Spurs are 9th with 21 points. IF we can string a couple of wins together we will be fine. Just trying to be positive cup half full and all that.

Not trying to drag your mood down, but we are quite a way of top 10 yet, we need a striker before we can even start thinking about it, those that thought top 10 was a possibility were/are in cloud cuckoo land, there's quite a bit to to sort out, and as everyone can see from our results, its going to take time.

There's two ways of looking at this. 1) If it wasn't for Jon Walters we'd be top 10 easily. 2) If it wasn't for Bego we'd be bottom. Take Your pick!

We'll finish 13th and we'll win the Man United Cup (as it's now known on here)

All ifs and buts on my part, but when you look at the midweek fixture list, things could look a hell of a lot better on Thursday morning if we win and the other results go as they 'should' Hull away at Arsenal Norwich away at Liverpool Villa away at Southampton Sunderland at home to Chelsea West Brom at home to Man City Fulham at home to Spurs Obviously, all of those won't go completely to plan, but as far as fixture lists go that could benefit Stoke City, they don't get a lot better than this coming week. Throw in a win for Newcastle at Swansea, and a draw between palace and West Ham, and we'll all be cyber hugging again, by the time Chelsea arrive

Walters is the Achilles heal for me.
He needs either dropping completely or keeping as far away from the oppositions goal as possible. He has the attacking instinct of a T-Cup Chawawa........

I wish that was the only problem I thought we had! He is a minor part of the issue - there's much more crucial issues to resolve

However, if he scored yesterday with the chance he had before they scored their first , it's a different game and possibly outcome? How many times as this been the case , this season alone !

Yes and if they had taken 3 easier chances your right in could have been different at 7-1!

Truth is at the end of the season we find that bar the odd surprise the teams end up within a couple of places of where they always do! Let's hope we aren't one of the surprises at the bottom end! My guess due to our transition under the new manager 14th or 15th.

Would we be a surprise near the bottom?

About 6 months if we are lucky but more realistically a season away.
