I thought he played well today after receiving a lot of undeserved criticism in recent weeks. I've seen calls for him to be dropped & also people blaming him for us throwing points away. Even though I don't think he had done too much wrong.
The assist showed great composure & vision. The goal was a cool & calm finish & sealed it for us. Overall he was pretty effective playing in a slightly more advanced role & played a major part in the win.
One of the key men out there today & he has the talent to be a real influence in the new & improved style. More of the same please.

Everything you say about the way he played today is spot on mate. The previous criticism was for a dodgy attitude and not playing that way? Definitely more of the same please.

He did well today
A great run beyond the forward line to create the first goal (which we've been crying out for someone to do more often!) and a neat little finish.
Having said that I think he has deserved the criticism he's received this season!

The Nzonzi we saw today was a completely different one from the one we've seen in recent weeks. He looked hungry and less of a mard arse this is the N'zonzi that we all want to see week in and week out.

Yeah very good game today ,pushed on more when given the chance and it surprisingly suited him , pleased as punch !
I think nzonzi has been given a relatively easy ride to be fair cos some of his performances have been piss poor !

N'zonzi is fast becoming the new boo boy. Whenever he did something wrong and even when he didn't, there were audible groans from the crowd.
I have watched all season long as N'zonzi has struggled to play alongside people who simply aren't fit enough to do the jobs asked of them and with forwards who offer absolutely no passing option at all, yet somehow it is N'zonzi's fault.
He has been asked to play further forward all season long and mainly due to the inadequacies of the likes of Wilson and Adam, has been caught between playing further forward and doing the job of others. Today he played further forward than even Adam and he played well. It is no surprise really because Whelan and Adam were both excellent which meant that N'zonzi simply had to do his own job and he did it very well. Made one, scored one.
N'zonzi has all the attributes to be a brilliant player and for me, many Stoke fans are guilty of expecting far, far too much from him. He was slated after the Swansea game for example but in the game I watched, after 55 minutes, he was playing their midfield on his own.

As soon as he made a little mistake, quite a few people couldn't wait to moan. Also, when we he plays sideways or backwards they moan. Our fans moan when one of our players keeps the ball. Unbelievable. Top player for us who has received far too much grief, just because he has some extravagant mannerisms & some poor central midfield partners. All three central midfielders were decent today, so he had abit of help & excelled.

Had a great game today, but maybe it was because Whelan gave him the right protection when N'Zonzi was going forward?

I thought he was great today. Could have had two if Crouchy had chosen him and not Arnie late on.

Outstanding today in a more forward role.
Some of the previous criticism was justified IMO.
