Can't go to the game, can't face listening to the radio, so will be watching Sky sports news waiting for the moment the sky presenter says, 'there's been a goal at Layer Road..but which way has it gone?'
Looking forward to several living room mentals tomorrow!

i love it when that happens, because with all the tension and suspense they are trying to create, the scores on the right hand side usually update while he's saying it.

The only drawback to that Eddie, is that everytime the old fucker whose name escapes me, utters the immortal words 'there's been a development at the Britannia Stadium, lets go over' - i swear the fucker raises his voice and smiles (because he knows what the development is), and sure enough, as sure as eggs is eggs, its that Stoke have gone a goal down

Agree Eddie - in the same situation tho' usually stick with BBCi which is just as comical in the updated screen already stakes.
Managed to get my 'live' footy fix this week watching the 'Less than Mighty' Bognor Regis Town draw their last home game with Sutton Utd - now that really was dire ... oh and £9 which ain't cheap. Still at least I could walk home. Fingers crossed for a few mentals myself.

Jeff Stelling is the master of suspense on sky, 'We've got some unbelievable news coming in from Layer Road..........someones been booked!'
