Will we be in May?

Assuming you are quoting PL games void, that's an interesting statistic.
60 games under Tone at a win rate of 21.6%. 10 games under MH at a win rate of 20%.
Of course if we beat Swansea, and I think we will, that will improve the MH record significantly.

Since beating the Dingles at Molineux December 2011: P 70 W 15 D 27 L 28 Worrying stuff. 72 Pts from 70 games... The season is 38 games so that means we have 6 games over or if we split it over two seasons 35 games played in each amassing 36 pts.. we'd probably just scrape through to 17th

We're still in the Premier League. Will we be in May? I think we will mate Those facts are interesting reading and ram home the job Mark Hughes had on his hands when he took over

Let's see what happens this afternoon you'd expect a reaction from the players to going into the bottom three, if we don't get one start worrying

Maybe the next 70 games is what we should be thinking about - is history any indication of the future? If you take, say Swansea or Southampton, over 70 games - where were they then or Wolves? The worrying thing for me is that we've 'stagnated' & been 'overtaken' by teams like Swansea or Southampton - but will they last, or will they crash & burn like Wolves - so, do we want one or two seasons of exciting football, but with several seasons out of the prem - or do we want play safe football, that kinda guarantees survival, but grinds our results. And that to me is the dilemma, the squaring the circle - and the answer, I think, is different for every Stoke fan. That's what divides us, the go for it attitude or the softly softly approach - no more bear pit, no more us against the world because we're not a band of brothers anymore. Our 'success' has divided us - we want more, we've become greedy, but we're not sure as a group how to go about it?

Sod the last 70 games, they're gone and can't be changed. It's the next 90 minutes that worries me

This afternoon's match is arguably more pivotal than we think - win and a great sigh of relief will wash over us all & make the whole outlook a lot more positive, a draw will be ok, but probably same sort of feelings of ambivalence will prevail, lose and the pressure next week will be excruciating.......
Strangely (and unusually) I am starting to feel really really anxious at the moment......need some Stella methinks !!!

The players need to start standing up for us again

21% win rate with over 20M worth of strikers on the books. Cheers, Tone. Sam Allardyce's view is that you need to spend £100m to improve a premiership team by 5%, £20m gives you a bit over 1% so one might argue we did well for our limited spend on a Championship squad when promoted

70 games????? Could you get anymore random? Nothing random about it. It followed a run of four or five straight wins immediately before it. If you recall we had that little run where we beat Spurs at home then Dingles away when Woodgate was hauled off, but in the subsequent 71 games now...15 wins.
