There isn't but the other two have been given a go in recent weeks and it's remained a problem, Whelan was next in line and deserved to play today imo. Until either a new right back or central midfielder come in then we'll be doing a merry go round there for a while yet. I'm not a fan of wilkinson but I think he did well enough against west brom to start today , to allow Cameron a midfield spot He's injured again. That's the biggest problem with him nowadays, he's never bloody fit.

We can't rely on him long term sadly, so perhaps it's best to look at other options now? As you say though he did enough vs WBA.

Did he bollocks do well enough v WBA, sessignon and amilfitano stuck him on his arse about 5 times, turning him inside and out. Bego saved him and us that day, wilko is another average player who's not good enough for the prem.

I thought Ireland did ok today. The big let down for me was Nzonzi. I'm usually one of his biggest fans but today he gave the ball away countless times and got caught in possession even more. Really disappointing. I agree, Ireland wasn't the worst player at all nzonzi was and whelan was out of his league rightfully subbed at HT him an Adam don't suit the new formation in any light... I bet a few transfers coming in for our midfield come January will make our side better just one or two in and out.

But gives all in defense wouldn't really mind him at rb to move gcam to midfield if our woes continue their.

Ireland has caught the eye with some good performances. Yesterday everything he did was ineffective or worse. Hopefully he will play next week and do a bit better. Arnie was also poor compared to some other games he's had.

Everyone has a bad game every blue moon, some more often than not. Ireland has been one of the better players since his signing.

As I used play midfield I'm wary of singing out individuals when the opposing team boss the game. As no matter how hard you try if your fellow mids are struggling you will struggle also because the other team just pass the ball around you and no matter how hard you run you are left chasing shadows and the game passes you by and you end up knackered.
The key indicator is what happens when you have the ball. Any midfielder worth his salt should be able to find a team-mate with a pass, so they get slated by me for poor distribution.

Arnie was also poor compared to some other games he's had. I do like Ireland and I do believe he will be a success at the club and I'm hoping we decide to get him in on a permanent contract. However so far he hasn't impressed me that much. He seems to have a football brain and you can see that with his movement but I don't think he's integrated that well. Hopefully he'll improve more as the games go by I suppose he's had limited football in the last 12 months so he's going to take a bit of time to get into the swing again.
