I think all our bookings were deserved, but taking no action against Van man was poor. He is a dirty bar steward, as we've seen before.

It was weird. In the first half it took him 35 minutes to call a foul. Second half, every little incident brought a free kick and yellow card.

What did he do? I'm guessing this was into injury time after the 45 mins during the corner. My stream was buffering and the ref was sorting everything out when it came back to life.

Not weird at all really. No point showing your hand if it looks like you're not needed. But at 2-1 down and your team are having a bit of a shitter, then you get the half-time call from the Fergiephone....what are you gonna do?

To be fair to the refs they are under pressure to keep the top sides winning by the premier league powers that be. They must keep them doing well as it creates an interesting title race which then draws in the money from broadcasting around the world
