Call it a mad idea if you want but without the requirement of imagination akin to Rocket science isn't there a call here for a temporary stand to be erected for this game. Obviously demand is outstripping supply thus alot of people are going to be disappointed ( me being one of them unfortunately but my own fault for not getting my @rse in gear! ) Now I would happily pay £50 to get a ticket. lets say they took down the electronic scoreboard and erected a temporary stand in that corner and even one over the top of the emergency access road by the Boothen, abit like they do for big golf tournaments etc etc. Doesn't take long to put up and probably cost effective too. Say it could hold another 2000 Stokies @ £50 a shot thats £100,000 income for the club less rental costs say £20,000 max = alot of extra happy Stokies, better atmosphere etc etc etc. If we could then fill those extra stands easily it gives more motivation to the board to fill in the corners permanently too. Am I onto something here or should I just say no to drugs? Karma anyone?

This will teach you - keep your posts short!
We wouldn't have time to get it built and passed by Health and Safety i'd imagine.

Could also keep it for the season as well like the one Wolves had when they went up and still have.

I have worked on Golf Tournaments and seen them erected ( sorry ) in about 3 days. Health & Safety checks are pretty quick.

so we are taking it down before the match on SUNDAY? ;D dam you spotted my deliberate mistake. I was only testing! Don't knock abit of enterprise boys and girls. Think about the bigger picture. If we could fill it every fortnight for a season thats about 1.5 Million extra revenue, enough to finance the wages of a very good Premiership player which might be the difference between staying up or going straight back down again. Speculate to accumulate

Something like this? I don't think Vale would appreciate us stealing their matchday control room.

Seriously e-mail Scholes. He may ignore You, he may take it on board. If You don't ask You don't get!

In theory we could have two temp stands for the season. One between the boothen and JS, the other next to the away end. Can't see them going for the away end corner as we have to have a space as big as Beagries mouth to seperate fans down stoke!

Seriously?! Take the scoreboard down (which won't cost anything?!) and then somehow construct a stand on that uneven grass bank with no access to it..... and then another stand apparently levatating between the Boothen End and the JS?! And they'll get safety clearence on that?! I know this season has been out of this world but I think this one's going a little too far!! Should have got your ticket earlier mate
