Played fantastic together today, silly mistake cost us but my goodness him and Arnie look deadly when combining. Keep the faith, we will score. In style and all

Agreed - as their fitness improves week by week they get better on and off the ball.
If we could just get N'Zonzi's mindset to be more positive and a confident Assaidi we have some proper footballers to make up for the lack of an out and out goalscorer until January...

Where do we play arnie that's what's going through my head! I felt sorry for him today as when he had the ball he looked to his right and there was lassie, them to his left the equally wank ethers! So the lad got frustrated and started hit 30 yard shots. Ireland seems a upgrade in Adam to me

Very pleased with Ireland.
If Arnie keeps trying stupid shots from 25 yards, I am going to run on the pitch and deck him. Some skill, but needs to concentrate more for me.
As for Assaidi, did he actually step foot on the pitch? That substitution was a mistake, as Fulham were strong defensively down the flanks but had no height in the middle. I really don't know what LMH was thinking.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Ireland and Arnie play today, like a couple of magicians in their own different ways. Just so sad that the one moment of real clinical, destructive play with killer intent and frightening simplicity came from Darren Bent

He looked far more dangerous than plodder Walters and Etherington combined. I thought Ireland was merely a "bald Tuncay"? I didn't think you liked creative players with skill.

Assaidi could become a legend. Isn't he on a season loan, not much time for that to happen

That's 3 more crosses than etherington and walters did combined for the whole game, unlike our usual wingers he actually took people on and got crosses in, give me that every week over etherington who seems to pass backwards and never be in his correct position.

Watch Stephen Ireland make passes to invisible teammates. Magic! Just kidding though, I think they're both two of our better players.

Our most dangerous player today was Huth from corner kicks, but he couldn't convert three free headers. The only other decent chance we had was when Walters was brought down in the box. I'm no Jon Walters fan by any means, but if the ref or line judge, whoever made the call on where the foul occurred gets it right, and then Walters doesn't take the penalty, it's a goal. Assaidi was good when he came on. But I don't think any of his crosses were on target were they?
