I was thinking it may just be me who thinks that Marc Wilson is a very poor footballer, unfortunately he's proving this. I want him to play well and he's had his moments but he's so slow of both mind and body. Tries to beat Charlie Adam's record of getting caught in possession. He makes Whelan seem alert. As for his passing, well if he's the midfield dynamo so many hoped he'd be (himself included) then i am actually Tony Hancock.

Today Wilson was very poor, but I wouldn't say he's been poor all season, he's had a couple of good games.

Caught in possession I don't know how many times. Has had some reasonable games this season, but was complacent today. Lack of movement from the midfield made them easy to close down.

Jones blows hot and cold ... he was cold today.
Wilson's been OK for us most of the season but had a stinker today

To me that is the one thing you can say about Wilson from the very first time he pulled on a Stoke shirt - if he plays in the middle he gets caught in possession - continuously.

I like Wilson, I really do...but today he had a very bad game. I do think he is good enough though.

Wilo was truly gash.
Slow in possession, caught numerous times and no real value towards the performance today.
He wasn't the only one of course.
Adam, N'Zonzi, Walters, Jones and Crouch also were pretty awful plus Bego if he was (as if looked live) at fault for the goal.
A really bad day at the office that highlighted our lack of a goalscorer.

Great fan of Wilson but have to agree. An absolute gasher today. But think Shawcross and Palace - he ll be back.

Wilson was poor but worst player for Stoke was Adam. Hope we don't get a season from Nzonzi like last season - world beater for 8 games then goes missing. A Blackburn fan told me when he signed he did it every season he was there. Why don't we cross the ball anymore?
