His control or lack of it is my biggest issue with him. I quite like the fellow, but I wish he would improve his control. Does anyone on here think he could improve it, or is he stuck with his present abilities, question mark.

My view is that he is actually a really quality players who needs to be given a great long run in the first team. What alot of you are failing to grasp is that his best attributes are in the air, so high drilled crosses are his best bet at a goal, which as it stands just arent coming. His feet maybe arent as nimble as Peter, however his pace and power are more than enough for me to keep him in the side. We have played 3 of the top 6 in our first 5 games and sit on 7 points.
All of us would have bitten the leagues hand off had that been offered at the start of the season. Lets see how our next 3 games go, which are alot easier in the grand scheme of things.

January can't come soon enough for me. If Kenwynne doesn't score in the next couple of league games Crouchie will have to come back

I said at the time if that drops to Arnie (who clearly has an amazing first touch) we probably go 2-1 up. Instead, it drops to Jones who was having a really poor game. After his good performance against Man City last week (imo) it was a shame to see him back to his old habits of not running, not challenging, being beaten by people smaller than him in the air.
Yep, very disappointing all round from Jones.

Jones had a poor game, as did Adam and Walters. Saying that apart from the pass from Huth , there wasn't much in the way of service for our forwards.

Bone idle yet again yesterday. I really can't see why we should offer him a new contract. It is ok saying he has power and frightens the shit out of defenders but he is paid to score goals which he doesn't do. And you can't score goals from an offside position! I would try crouch with this Arnie bloke running just in front of him. We need pace and trickery in and around the box and he could be that man to get us to the new year when the other striker arrives. And the midfield are paid to create chances for him, one all game isn't enough, even though it was a good one and should have done much more with it, we need to move on from Crouch he's finished as far as I can see, KJ may not be the answer but for the way we are playing KJ is the best option we have for now.

We are creating more chances than we have in a long time. At least 3 times yesterday we got in a position to cross the ball in only to find Jones still making his way forward meaning we had to check our attack. He should be in there expecting/waiting for the cross.

We need to get rid of Jones, he was awful. His first touch was that of a child of two and he poses no threat whatsoever. He's had his last chance surely. Please let's get a proper striker in January!

As Brian Clough said of Attila the Twat, Mark Hateley (I think): "He can trap a ball further than I can kick it."

He was still making his way because he was the one to hold it up and lay it off, in that case one of the wingers/ midfielder should be pushing further on and take Jones place, pretty simple really, like Arnie did for our goal, Jones was involved in the build up so he pushed on and was unlucky not to score.

Kenwyne said his touch was deliberate because he thought the keeper was coming out and wanted to take it away from him! Interview on Knots!
