I do hope he can break into the first team at some point. When he came on vs Walsall he looked a threat even though he was not fit, maybe the pace to change a game?

The problem for me today beside Adam was the slowness of our passing and build up play which allowed them to defend it easily. We need to move the ball a lot quicker if we are to create more chances imo.

Can we discuss the merit's of Walters, particularly against the teams in and around us? ie. next week against Norwich.
What does he offer instead of Pennant or even Etherington with Arnautovic on the right?

re. Ramsey.
It was referred to as a career threatening tackle, not a career threatening injury.
Disgusting!

Walters needs dropping ASAP. He offered nothing today and to be honest was as much as to blame for the first goal as Bego....

Ramsey deserves everything he gets back at the Brit for his actions today and also his and Arsenals refusal to let it go.

Re Kenwyne - I think this very much depends on who they may be lining up as a replacement!
His touch today was poor on several occasions but he did look frustrated when team mates didn't anticipate his move.
He is lacking a regular striking partner -
Arnautocvic looks very promising imo
They all need time to get used to playing together

my thoughts ... charlie adam was woeful ... our strikers can't score ... pieters also had a bad day, couldn't even send one decent cross while he was on(could see hughes' and bowen's frustation about him just before he got subbed)... scoreline still flattered Arsenal ... but we made it easy for them when despite all our possession we never really had the bite to really test their keeper ... cameron and nzonzi our best players ... a big off-day for our defence especially Bego ... frustrating goals to give away... and finally sick and tired of Arsenal and their whinging ... still they would be so happy to have beaten us and be top of the league. ray calleja

We should beat Tranmere comfortably - but to do that we will need to score goals!!!
Give some of the bench players a start, certainly Ireland, Palacios.
Any injuries / concerns then rest these players for the Norwich game
I have been impressed by MH having attacking players on the bench so far - we will need to do this on Wednesday just in case!

Edu came on at Liverpool last season for possibly the worst 5 minutes I've ever seen on a debut.
