Without faulting an another otherwise outstanding performance from the Fonz, I wonder for life of me why felt the need to pull back when he was twicw through goal. One being his solo breakaway 5 yards ahead of everyone on the pitch, and the other with the counter attack with Arnie. Both times he stopped the momentum of an attack that could of had us at 5 nil! What's the issue? The ghost of Pulis Past?

I think he just shits himself. Both times defenders had caught up with him and he panicked. With the first he should have just shot but I don't think stopping and keeping the ball was that bad of a thing to do there tbh. He wasn't in a great position to shoot and no one was around him to play in.
The second one was different, why he didn't just trying fizzing a pass across to Ireland I'll never know. I don't think it would have reached him because the defence had got back but he should have tried.

He didn't pass to Arnie because he had run offside and he wanted us to keep possession
The first one was baffling as even when he pulled it back on to his right foot he still didn't shoot or lift it overHart who was nearly on the edge of his box

I just think he hasn't got the speed to get away from the defenders

I think it's a fear of getting clattered more than anything.

He stopped because he thought there was a cyclist behind him.

I thought the defender did very well on the 2nd occasion because he didn't commit himself towards N'Zonzi and Arnie didn't make the right run either imo.

Players not shooting, us not winning, the subs Hughes makes, it's all that fucking dinosaurs fault!

He stopped because he thought there was a cyclist behind him. Mail on Sunday match report: The man being sought by police following an accident on Saturday afternoon has been identified as Stoke City footballer Steven Nzonzi. Mr Nzonzi is accused of failing to stop at the scene of a collison and failing to check on the wellbeing of Manchester City's Yaya Toure following an incident during the Premier League fixture at Stoke's Britannia Stadium. Said Mr Toure: "He was just running forwards with the ball and I was following him. It looked for all the world that he was going to shoot but then, without warning, he just stopped and passed the ball sideways. My momentum took me into the back of him and, although I wasn't hurt, he just shrugged his shoulders, said what sounded like 'eugh', and strolled off in the opposite direction." Police are currently trying to establish Mr Nzonzi's whereabouts, but have so far drawn a blank. A request for information posted on Stoke supporters' online forum The Oatcake, regarding the times of Stoke's training sessions, was met with such responses as "not this again FFS" and "Shit bin!"

I Just remember his comments about Diao scoring
