As the scousers have said , very quick but light on his feet , needs games to see if he is good enough, has the pace we need but time will tell

His playing style very similar to one Peter Beagrie.

Always wanted the ball, always available for an outlet and always tried to do something with it.
Cant ask for much more on a debut.

Could be an awesome player for us. 1st name on team sheet for me Saturday. Wont get through 90 minutes though. I'd rather bring him on at 70/75 minutes to take advantage of tired legs. Will be great when fit though. Anyone know if his loan is with a view to make it perm? Not this again!

To me he looked a little lost when we didn't have the ball and I'm not sure he knew where he needed to be however that is to be expected of bloke who hasn't trained with the team yet. He seemed to be up for it and was looking interested and hungry for the ball which is nice to see.

Do we have the option to buy in this loan deal?

Assaidi compared with Hoilett - any similarities/difference re. pace/sharpness/quality?

With match fitness he will be great for us. Him and Muniesa will just get better and better.

Certainly impressive on the night but let's not forget these were League 1 defenders. It will be interesting to see how he fares against PL fullbacks. I'm not dancing in the streets just yet. 45 mins in a game like this is not enough evidence.

He will admit himself that he was knackered after 20 minutes and is, by his own admission, some way from match fitness.
He will be on the bench tomorrow and will then spend the next 2 weeks getting himself ready for our next league fixture.
