Only the second game of the season I know, but it's a must win isn't it? They are one of the weakest teams and we are at home. I feel 3 points are a must, come away with anything less then the alarm bells will be ringing.

If we dont win and we havnt signed anyone else by then I'd imagine quite a bit of uproar. So yeah.., we need to win. Even more so when you consider our tough run of fixtures after that.

'Must win' doesn't mean what you think it means.

Realistically though if we don't win next week it's hard to see us beating West Ham away and City.

If we can't beat these at home, then what hope do we have?

The absolute last thing we need though is anyone getting on the back of the team or manager.

Big game , could do with 4 points from that and Wet sham before taking on Citeh and Arsenal , but they looked a tough nut to crack v Spurs so without new blood will be very tight for us, will need full on yet patient support

We need to concentrate on building on our team /strategy first, the results will come .....although obviously a win is still important there's is no need for alarm bells.
Shocking that we have not got our team together sooner tho
Or maybe that's down to the players we are courting looking for a richer suitor ..who knows.. We can but wait and see

I'm pretty nervous about the game. Especially nervous about the season cards working properly

It is a must win for one reason.
Mark Hughes needs to win a game and get that monkey off his back.
14 games since a win (ironically against stoke )
Soon as he gets back to winning ways the better

If we are to stay in the league surely it is a must win game!! They looked solid against spurs and it took a penalty to beat them. With us not scoring many at the minute think we will have our work cut out to get the points

If we don't win this one then Hughes is going 5 without a win because we won't beat Man City, Arsenal or West Ham Away. Add that to the 13 without a win he already had at QPR and you have 18 without a win, or 18 months without a win, or half a season without a win, it really doesn't matter what you call it but it won't be pretty and it won't escape the attention of many in the media. On the other hand, win the Palace game and the Les revolution is off and running. Fine margins.

It's must win on the sole basis Holloway doesn't require any more fuel for his massively inflated sense of self importance.

Well Super Tone's side needed extra time to beat Crystal Palace's stiffs last season.
Starting to get a bit twitchy.

I think in some aspects it is, looking at the fixtures after we have we could be 5 games in with no points

It doesn't matter when in the season a game like this comes, we should be looking to beat promoted teams at home, yes it's must win.

If we don't win then Hughes is going to feel the heat (unfairly so) from a few quarters and particularly so if we go 5 games without a win / points given his QPR nightmare.

Surely a loss with a decent performance and 60% possession is ok
