If the "penalties" had been denied to Blackburn and Mark Hughes had protested, then I'm sure Styles' premier status would still be intact!

I've never quite worked this referee demotion thing out.
Your a bad referee and make mistakes, therefore you can go and referee in League Two.I'm sure that Chester fans, who still could go out of the league, will not be happy with Styles as the ref in such an important game.
Surely a ref's mistake is a mistake whether it be in the Champion's League or Conference. Refs like Styles who are consistently poor should be banned from reffing any professional match until they are back up to standard . Just because the football is of a lower standard why should the players and fans have to put up with a lower standard of refereeing?
