Just watch gladiator reruns on sky Infinitely better Without a doubt Gladiator is one of the best films of its type made ....not withstanding the billing of Russelll Crowe in the leading role ...to be fair to the guy he was excellent .. Knocks the spots off 300

Yes its in the making now bish....thats it above.
Gladiator & 300 are Two differing styles films tho really
I like them both for different reasons
Love 300 for its originality, and gladiator is just a great big screen classic style

Not seen the first, but that trailer looks like some high budget gay porno with all topless men, gimp suits and helmets on show :/

I enjoyed 300 for what it was; a comic fantasy loosely based on a real incredible event. I'm struggling to see what's anchoring this one.

It's interesting if you go to Malta to see some of the locations where Gladiator was filmed ... But I shall go to see the new one though ...

I liked the big budget Gladiator epic, but 300 is a unique and brilliant film that's in a different league.

i thought 300 was a good film, but there's no way it's better than Gladiator.Maximus is the hardest film character of all time.

Some got bludgeoned with a bronze sword.....all got bludgeoned with the pork sword Indeed more often with the pork sword ! It was considered the normal thing in Ancient Greece , it was odd how in later years the Romans adopted almost every aspect of Ancient Greek philosophy into their own , the gods ( different names ) , architecture , style of dress, similar artistic styles , military tactics ......but never their use of the Pork sword !, indeed it was a subject of ridicule

I believe its the same scenario with a comic fantasy based loosely on a naval engagement/ battle that occurred around the same time as the battle of themopolae (or however you spell the bloody place).
