Just wondering who you think will finish in the Top 4 and get relegated this season as well as your stoke prediction. I am going for...
1st-Chelsea: They have made a few decent signings such as Schurrle, they have 'The Special One' who, in my opinion, is the best manager in the league tactically as well as being a fantastic motivator and have the most technically gifted squad in the league who will no doubt be buoyed by Mourinhos return.
2nd-Man City: They have bought in a lot of new faces and I can see them starting off slowly. However, if they gel quickly, i can see them taking Chelsea to the wire.
3rd-Man Utd: They have lost Fergie and i can see their players struggling to adjust to Moyes managerial style at least to begin with. Moyes inexperience at the very top level will see them perhaps drop points (especially away from home) from games that they would have won under Fergie. Despite having the best attacking options in the league, i feel that they can be over-run and even dominated in midfield, if Vidic isnt playing, they look shaky at the back and De Gea still looks nervous when dealing with balls into the box. I can see them dropping too many points to win the league but should still be comfortably in the Top 3.
4th-Arsenal: I can just see Arsenal scraping into the champions league yet again, if only for the fact that they probably wont lose any of their big players and I just cant see Spurs, Everton or Liverpool having the quality or depth over the season to seriously challenge. As much as i dislike them, they just have a knack of pulling it off.
Relegation Predictions
18th-Crystal Palace: Can see these having a real good go under Holloway despite their lack of new signings but, like Blackpool, can see them falling at the last hurdle due to not having that bit of Prem know-how that could win them the odd point over a season.
19th-Sunderland: Yes, they have bought in some new blood and Di Canio kept them up last season but if they lose a few or Di Canio has a falling out with his players, i could see them slipping down.
20th-Cardiff: To be fair they won the championship last season but they were average at best (im sure Peterborough beat them twice). Add to that the majority of the squads core reek of Championship standard and they have virtually no prem experience in their ranks and, even though they have spent wads on Corneilius, Caulker and Medel, the players they have bought in wont be enough to keep them up (like reading last season).
As for us....
14th: Even though i can see us starting slowly due to our new style of play, we are solid at the back (barring injuries) and if we can create chances at the other end and bring in another striker, we should have enough to pull away to mid-table safety this season with a foundation to build upon.

1. Man United - New manager or not, its still the same squad that walked the league last season, with some decent youngsters added in. 2. Chelsea - Mourinho adds a whole new element to them. Rafa got the most out of a weak team last year but they've added a couple of players they needed, and probably just need one or two more. 3. Spurs - IF Bale stays, they've bought some good new players to complement what they already had. 4. City - 100m on some very average players, although law of averages says one or two will be good. Watched them in pre-season and their key players look just as disinterested as they did last season. I think they will struggle.
18. Newcastle - reckon this Joe Kinnear business has got mid season meltdown written all over it. 19. Cardiff - Just havent added enough to bring them out of Championship mode. 20. Hull - reckon they could be on for the record points haul.

I think well finish 15th. If we get in Diouf and 2 others I can see 10th.
A lot of people are tipping us to go down which I think could work in our favour.
Surpises - I see Southampton doing well. With Europe I think Swanseas bubble could burst. I also dont think West Ham are as strong as the press would have you think. Both will be OK though.

12-16. Us
18. Norwich 19. Hull 20. Palace
Think Cardiff will stay up as they were the best team in the championship last year and signed a few decent players.
I predict decent seasons for villa, Swansea.
Poor seasons for Everton, Fulham & Sunderland

Citeh to win the league, Chelsea second. Other champs league places filled by Man Yoo and Arsenal.
Spurs, Liverpool, Norwich, Swansea, Soton, West Ham to round out top 10.

I think they'll be in and around the relegation positions. I also think Fulham will finish far lower than 10th.

Premier league is all about securing 10 wins
I ask myself this every season - can we get ten wins ? (the rest of the points take care of themselves if you can)
I keep coming up with the the answer each time - yes, of course
I see this season no differently apart from, it might be somewhat better to watch this time around
My prediction - a solid tenth with a few surprising wins against bigger clubs thrown in too
