Not as in challenging for the title, but the top 3 i think they will do, they look awesome this preseason, and some of the movement and goals they have scored (plenty) have been great.
A very tough game next week, i hope we don't get a spanking.

Will be lucky to get in the top 6. Top 3? Absolutely no chance.

No.. but it's great to see a shithouse like Suarez backed to the hilt both by the fans and club one minute' ....and then seeing him stabbing the whole lot in the back the next by asking for a transfer.
Gerrard is another scouse shitbag whose best days are gone and I can't see them getting in the top six at all.

Really can't see it. Sturridge and Coutinho are the real deal but that's about it. Top 8 finish.

its dawned on the kopites that once suarez goes the days of attracting/keeping world class players are over. The lack of CL football has really hit them and once sewer rat goes the only player who can even remotely be classed as quality is coutinho, who even then doesn't seem to do well in the big games. Sturridge is a confidence player and once not firing in 2/3 games will really feel the pressure of being the no1 man and gerrards nearing the end. Even with the £40/50 mil from selling suarez they cant attract the quality that they need to get top 4. Arsenal and spurs squads have much higher quality.
Oh long may Brenda's glorious reign continue!

Without the greasy bastard they will be mid table...one man team.

Can't see it myself. They've had some brilliant players and great mangaers during the wilderness years (CL title excepted) with Owen, Fowler, Gerrard, McManaman, Torres, Suarez etc. but whatever magic they had has long gone. My Dad's 2nd team so I always keep an eye on them. But Rodgers will never fix them, no matter how many 500 page dossiers he writes. He's way too passive for LFC and you get the feeling that he's always punching the air, wondering how the hell he got that gig.
It's frankly ridiculous that LFC aren't nailed on for a CL spot each year. 7th or 8th I reckon with Rodgers gone next summer if not before. They don't know how to win, let alone dominate.

Initially Yes. You can sense that this Suarez episode is really galvanising the club. I think it will make them more united as a team and they will come out of the blocks firing on all cylinders. Whether they can sustain that is another matter. I can't see us getting much out that first game tbh.

Historically always considered one of the big 4, then big 6, now just an ordinary team. 70's & 80's big 4 were man U, Liverpool, forest & Arsenal....Look what happened to Forest. I see absolutely no argument whatsoever that Liverpool could NEVER be a relegation candidate. You can honestly say Man U, Arse, Chelski, Spuds & maybe Citeh will never go down, but L/pool, maybe, just maybe...

Liverpool will finish between 5th and 7th i reckon. Whatever some people on here might think of them and Rodgers,he is undoubtedly building a strong side. Anyone who says they are ordinary is talking bollocks and to EFC,they will finish comfortably above your lot this season.

They'll be top 6 again at least. Brenton is good comedy value but he's also slowly building a side that's good to watch and improving. Even without Suarez they finished the season strongly and if they use the money from his sale wisely I could see them at least pushing for 4th. Coutinho looks a top player, Sturridge has done very well since he went there, Gerrard's got at least one more top season left in him. They're probably a centre half away from being a really good side.

Still not much has changed. Had the perfect run of fixtures so far and looked ordinary against the only two top teams they've played. Top 4 will be a challenge for them come May, given Arsenal's form.

All depends on Suarez.
Top 3 with him - mid table without him.

All depends on Suarez. Top 3 with him - mid table without him. spot on, when sewer rat was banned they were fluking 1-0 wins against yourselves, Villa and Utd then once he came back they were hammering teams 5-0, doesnt take a genius to work out why!
