Over this new season? I can't bloody wait. So many things have changed in a short period of time at Stoke and in the BPL as a whole. The managerial merry-go-round of the entire country is just mental, and there's lots of exciting players coming into the league who have bags of potential.
However my main focus is on us. At the age of 19 I've been blessed really with let's say 'the good years' of scfc. I've seen us go to wembley 3 times, millennium stadium, Europe, promotions etc but never have I been so in the dark as such as I feel now about our club.
The general feeling is nobody has any idea what is going to happen with anything. The roumers this year are completely out the blue and the players we are now bieng linked with I would have drempt of with TP in charge. Will Palacios be blown away? Can Shawcross pass a ball? Can Pennant re-discover his form of 2011? So many exciting things this season that could all go tits up very easily. But with MH at the helm I do believe all will be good and patience will be the key to success.
Ill be there at Liverpool singing my heart out for the 12th year as a season ticket holder. C'mon Stoke!!!

Not convinced myself. We may be passing the ball but we aren't doing anything with it. And Pennant doesn't fill me confidence either. This is the same guy that couldn't get into a relegated Wolves side?
We'll see though.

Can't wait, not looked forward to a season this much in years, yes it could go tits up, but equally we could be ace, that's why it was great. Predictable it ain't.
Dullis killed any love of football most people ever had years ago, even the step up to the prem didn't have me this excited. Don't get me wrong that season was ace, but it was only ever gonna be backs to the wall us against the world.

Horrible sense of dread- still scarred by the 23 years of hurt - but desperate for some early good results to ease the tension.

I'm looking forward to a fresh start and hopefully two new strikers .
I do hope that we see better entertainment and more goals scored.
Happy days.

The next 2 and a half weeks are key. Good signs but no real cutting edge yet a minimum of a new striker and winger and I'll feel a lot more positive.
The thing that worries me most is the players our rivals are signing.

On the evidence presented during the US friendly matches, I have to say that the Dallas game has given me a sense of confidence that we will be playing open, and hopefully, more attacking football this season. It's also gratifying to hear that Hughes is not about to throw the baby out with the bathwater and will use the defensive disciplines’ already in place.

Nervously optimistic, and really looking forward to see how we get on this season. Hughes certainly inherited a very decent (Defensively more so) team in which he can now focus on trying new things out and improving our attacking football. There's obviously going to be more buying now (Wingers/Attackers) so we have every reason to feel optimistic Anything can happen, that's where the nerves get tangled with the optimism/excitement

But yes, can't wait for footy to start, most expats love it, love the banter with fans of other clubs, which is generally fairly friendly...

Much as I was generally pro Pulis, I am looking forward to the change of style this coming season.

Crucial period to the first game, still time to augment the team until the window closes but it would be great to be settled before the start.
