All right lads, in preparation for the new season I thought I'd get the lay of the land from Premier League clubs before it kicks off and the majority of us are too depressed to answer a bunch of questions from a stranger.
What's a realistic aim for your team this season?
Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?
Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?
Which of your players do you predict having a big season?
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?
Which fixtures do you immediately look for?
Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?
What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
Thanks in advance for any and all answers. I'll be back here to collate them before sticking them on a Newcastle site before the season kicks off.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? Top ten. But as it's a new regime and a 'transition' season, staying up is still the first priority for me.Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? Width, pace and a double-figures striker. The latter may already be in our midst if used wisely.Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Erik Pieters Which of your players do you predict having a big season? As alluded to above, I have a feeling that one of our existing strikers (Crouch, Walters, Jones, Jerome) may surprise us in a new set-up. Would be great if Pennant gets a new lease of life too.Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? I don't really 'expect' that of any of our players, but Etherington is a shadow of his former self now and I don't see him ever recovering his old form unfortunately. Could still be useful as a sub.Which fixtures do you immediately look for? Baggies because they're local and have an annual 4-6 point direct debit set up in our favour. Arsenal at home because Wenger absolutely hates playing us. Southampton because one of my best mates is a fan.Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? Doesn't really apply to me now but being tucked up in that little corner at Old Trafford drowning out the home support when you're outnumbered 60 to 1 is always fun. What's your most memorable game against NUFC? Abdoulaye winning it for us in the dying minutes in... 2009?Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? Not sure I can think of anyone more clown-like in the modern game. It's amazing he still features at all in the modern game.Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Always liked Gutiérrez, he'd fit nicely on our left wing if he's not getting on too much.Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? They're very subtle mind games if that's what he's doing. He's a slightly self-important dickhead. Not the only manager guilty of that, and I think he's capable of being a decent manager in fits and spurts.Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? Mid-table I expect, although the Kinnear factor could put you in danger.

Nothing to see here, please move along to the Black Cats and ask these questions. They are tiresome and relatively pedantic.

Eh, I've nothing better to do. What's a realistic aim for your team this season?
Realistically, somewhere between 9-12 should be the aim, though it will be difficult, somewhere from 13-17 being more likely. Don't see us being relegated this season. Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?
Besides the tactics of Pulis, which have hopefully been eradicated, our major weaknesses at the end of last season were our fullbacks, defensive cover, and wings. The defensive issues seem to have been mostly addressed with the addition of Pieters and Muniesa, meaning that the major area needing strengthening is the wings. Kightly looked miles off the pace last season, Etherington looked tired and possibly past it, Walters is never a winger, Shea is an unknown quantity, and christ knows how Pennant will go if he does see playing time under Hughes. For me, we need to splash some cash on one true quality winger, and let the others fight it out for the second spot. I believe the strikers we have do possess enough quality to score the goals we need if the service, especially from the wings, picks up. Also, Pulis had a real aversion to testing youth, and if we want to progress as a football club, inclusion of promising younger players, such as Cuvelier, will be important. Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?
For us, Pieters and hopefully Cuvelier. Like the look of Kevin de Bruyne too, will be interested to see how much Premier League time he sees for Chelsea. This Belgian revolution is entertaining. Which of your players do you predict having a big season?
This will be a big one for Begovic in terms of his progression to a champions league club. Interest in him has cooled, and if he doesn't perform once more this season he could fall out of the limelight. Also, he was our most important player in the last campaign, and only seems to be getting better, so I predict a big 2013-14 for Asmir. If we keep hold of him, I think Kenwyne Jones could potentially have a big season under the new management, and with, hopefully, some improved service. If selected consistently, he has the ability to net us 15+ this season. Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?
I can't see Pennant making too much impact if he does see playing time. Hasn't played well in a while, and seemed to fall even further on loan to Wolves. He would need to work hard and focus on his football to make any sort of real difference at Premier League level, and he doesn't have the attitude for that. Which fixtures do you immediately look for?
Since I live so far from the UK, away day experiences don't mean anything to me, so I like to see us at home against the big boys. Arsenal coming to ours is always a highlight. Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?
Again, as a Stokie outside the UK, away days mean less, and having to get up at some ridiculous hour of the night to watch us park the bus whenever we went on the road hardly had me on the edge of my seat last season. Hopefully under Hughes our away matches are more entertaining. In terms of particular matches, I suppose knocking the stuffing out of your garcons at the beautifully named Sports Direct Arena will be fun. What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
The two late goals to beat you at the Brit last November were pretty great, so as a relative newcomer to SCFC i'll go for that. Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?
Dunna give a fuck, to be honest. He seems a bit of a twat. Is there anyone not French left in the side now? Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?
Always been a fan of Cabaye, and of course Cisse would be a massive addition to Stoke. Hatem Ben Arfa is unpredicatble and exciting, which are qualities we could do with at the Brit. Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?
Very punchable face, especially when he opens his gob. I think he is an ok manager, though the massive contract was stupid. Would have taken him over Pulis last season. Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
Hopefully a spot below Sunderland, and a few spots behind us, where you belong

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? Would like to say challenging for the top of the 'best of the rest' teams - i.e. 8th. But there are fine lines between there and surviving, and given a new set-up, I would staying clear of the drop zone is realistic.
Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? Pace, a tad more adventure and balance. Bringing in two defensive options already, especially at left back, has hopefully already addressed part of this.
Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? The league: Emanuele Giaccherini and Jesus Navas For us: Marc Muniesa
Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Charlie Adam - mixed bag last season, but showed his best when brought on in a free-er, deeper role. Think we could see a lot more from him if played here, which is also more likely under the new manager.
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Jermaine Pennant - leopards never change their spots... a 'new' start with a lot of hype around it. He will probably hit the ground running with some glimpses of his best, but I wouldn't be surprised if the wheels come off again (well) before Christmas.
Which fixtures do you immediately look for? As someone who lives within 150 meters of St James' Park, the away game vs you lot is the one for me. But also the games vs the Baggies and the home games vs Arsenal and Liverpool.
Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? For the above reason, our away game vs you is the one the least, because it's Boxing Day and I was planning on being back in the holy land for the holidays. But our free away travel package might mean I reconsider my plans for that one... Most - I'm really looking forward to our opener at Liverpool.
What's your most memorable game against NUFC? Abdoulaye's last minute equaliser at St James' in 2008 from 2-0 down.... or thumping you 4-0 at the Brit in 2011
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? The radio interview was unbelievable - what value he can add to the club I really don't know... can surely only cause further division. Pardew seems to have coped ok though.....
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? For some reason, always liked Gutierrez, seems to play with a lot of passion which is always gives a good impression. Cabaye is a type of player we don't have, so would love to have him.
Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? He comes across as very unlike-able. He's the sort of person who is incredibly PR driven - for short term gain... i.e. the Ferguson comments about hypocrisy were spot on in my opinion.
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? I would say with the playing squad on paper, you could easily finish top 10. But depending on when Kinnear wants to implode the club, and the other factors such as Cisse seemingly wanting away, it could be a tough slog again to safety. So like a lot of clubs... anywhere between 8th and 18th.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? 17th place or higher. With some better football along the way
Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? A right back who can join the attack more. A goalscorer
Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Jovetic, Navas and Bony
Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Charlie Adam
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Brek Shea
Which fixtures do you immediately look for? Arsenl at home. West Brom away
Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? Can't wait for Arsenal at home. West Brom at home nerve wrecking because of the expectation to win.
What's your most memorable game against NUFC? When we won at your place 2-1 and perch scored an own goal. Away victories are rare for Stoke fans.
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? I'm just glad he's not at Stoke. He sounds absolutely mental.
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Sissoko, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Tiote etc.
Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? Sometimes he comes across overconfident and claims you should of won most games. But nearly every manager sounds like that (Pulis being number one).
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? Mid table.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season?
To play better football and go for games rather than doing what we did with Pulis, which was sitting back and hoping we survived games.
Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?
It's all about service for us as last year we had decent attackers like Crouch unable to do anything because no balls were being played into the box. We generally need more pace in the team and more balls being played forward from midfield. A lot of this is the mindset of the players because under Pulis they weren't given license to express themselves, but we do need to invest in some pace down the wings/up front. Our defence is strong though.
Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?
That Deulofeu lad who Everton have on loan looks a big prospect, so I'm looking forward to seeing if he's as good as he looks (apart from against us)
Which of your players do you predict having a big season?
I think Charlie Adam and Peter Crouch will. They were probably the biggest victims of Pulis last season. Crouch last season was completely isolated so if we improve on the areas I've mentioned, he should hopefully be able to thrive. Adam struggled to make the team because Pulis was so obsessed with the defence and he's not the most prolific defender. I'm sure Hughes will be able to see that not every member of the team has to have good defensive qualities and manages to fit Adam in. He and Palacios are about the only two Stoke players I've seen recently who look to play through balls FORWARD.
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?
If he plays, Jon Walters. Some rate him, but I see him as the weakest 'footballer' in our squad and the epitome of all that was wrong with Pulisball.
Which fixtures do you immediately look for?
Living in Bristol and often unable to take the whole Saturday off, I don't attend as many games as I'd like to. So really I look for periods where I'll be able to go like the first home game, boxing day etc. I look out for possible away games (like Cardiff this year) and see if we have any nasty groups of fixtures.
Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?
I'll probably only go to Cardiff and possibly Villa.
What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
Tie between the 2-2 draw at St James' with Abdoulaye shushing your fans, and the 4-0 thrashing a couple of seasons ago.
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?
From the outside, Newcastle looks like it's in a bit of a mess but I don't really know the details.
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?
Ben Arfa, Cisse, Cabaye, Debuchy and Sissoko.
Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?
No disrespect, but I absolutely despise Pardew, probably more than any other manager. He seems like someone who would hang out with his kids mates thinking he was 'down with the kidz'. I do think he's an average manager with a lot to say really. You did have a fantastic season a couple of years ago but last season you were pretty awful so I'm not really convinced by him. I've never thought it possible to become furious by someone's facial hair, but when I saw Alan fucking Pardew with that stupid fucking beard celebrating that fucking last minute goal against us I was ever so slightly annoyed.
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
Sorry mate, but I think you're in trouble. Pretty lucky last season and since Cisse kept you up and now seems to be on his way out I can see Newcastle going down. I think a lot will rely on whether he stays or goes.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? Start to intergrate better football & score more goals whilst finishing mid-table.
Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? Wide areas, maybe one more central midfielder with technical ability & maybe one quality goal getter
Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Pieters & Muniesa our 2 new signings to date
Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Wilson Palacios & Kenwyne Jones
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Glenn Whelan's days are numbered
Which fixtures do you immediately look for? Boxing Day
Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? None stand out
What's your most memorable game against NUFC? Have we had one?
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? It's like watching a Cartoon Army
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? Cabaye & Gutierezz, I think you dropped a big bollock in signing Papa Cisse & letting Demba Ba go. I like Pardew, he is a positive manager, you should try putting up with Mr Negative Tony Pulis and see what you think about Pardew after doing so!
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? 12th

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? This year is a year for stabilising. With major changes in management and football style, it could be dangerous to try too much. So I would suggest that a position of between 10-14th as realistic, with a notable change in playing style. Although I think a position of between 15-17th wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility, just due to the changes.
Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? The general belief seems to be "we need goal scorers" which is absolutely correct, but I think Hughes has already started to address the far more drastic need for full backs with Pieters & Muniesa. Our signing Brek Shae last January might be able to fill the LM void, which I think is paramount, and with the potential departures of Jones and Crouch, forward replacements could be a real issue.
Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? For Stoke, I am very interested to see how Erik Pieters will bed in. It's exciting to actually have a left back with pedigree.
Outside of Stoke, I am keen to watch Jovetic at Man City!
Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Should we be able to convince him to stay, I think Stephen N'Zonzi will thrive this season. He is an exceptionally composed player who just needs the right nurture to develop his game. When he wants to be attacking, he powers through other teams with the ball at will, much in the ilk of Yaya Toure. Unfortunately, it wasn't something Pulis encouraged as he wanted him to be disciplined in his position as DM.
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Kightly. I just don't think he is good enough for this level.
Which fixtures do you immediately look for? I always enjoy playing the newly promoted teams. Travelling to grounds that I have either never been to, or not for a long time is always a great experience. I am relishing visiting Hull, Palace & Cardiff this year!! Although I do always check to see when we play West Brom, it's always nice to know when our 6 points are coming.
Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? Man Utd - we quite simply never seem to get much out of them, and Mark Hughes doesn't exactly have a great record against the red devils either.
What's your most memorable game against NUFC? Stoke 4 - 0 Newcastle (2011) Higgingbotham's free kick stands out as a real moment of brilliance. It was particularly memorable as I walked to the game with a NUFC friend and commented that I expected a 4-0 score line, simply to wind him up, only for it to come true to both our surprise. Stoke's biggest premiership win to date I believe....
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? I think it is without doubt the most stupid appointment I can imagine. To make it worse, should this kind of position be filled, it should be kept within the club to a decent degree and not publicised to the point that it becomes a pantomime. Stoke appointed Mark Cartright as Technical Director last year, a decision which wasn't welcomed - but it was done subtly and does seem to be the right decision. WIth the amount of attention Kinnear has brought upon himself, if it goes wrong, he will make a fool of himself and the club.
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Ben Arfa is a standout player along with Cabaye. I wouldn't mind seeing them in the Potters shirt.
Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? I'm not his biggest fan and I think that he often makes daft comments and is quite dislikable. The photos I've seen with him socialising with the players don't sit right, I like a manager who is exactly that, a manager and not 'one of the boys'.
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? 10-14th - After last year, I think this will also be a year to consolidate.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season?
As others have said, better football and not looking likely to go down/ be involved in a scrap. Scoring more goals is important, but almost guaranteed. Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this?
We need to move either KJ on (1 year left on his contract) or Crouch, and hopefully bring in another striker. A more creative midfielder maybe, but Adam may come good with more freedom. Another winger would be nice. Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing?None really stand out. Players like Cavani, Neymar and Thiago Alacantra have decided against coming to the PL No one really stands out. Which of your players do you predict having a big season?
I think our wingers, Kightly and Shea might come good. Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?
I think our defence might look average without 5 midfield players who'se priority is to help out the defence. Which fixtures do you immediately look for?
Cardiff home and away this year, then West brom, then local teams (if there are any left) Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?
Cardiff most, Swansea least. Cardiff atmosphere should be quality, and Swansea away is a game where unless you're a top team you usually don't see much of the ball and end up getting turned over (or at least we do!). But all away games should be more exciting this year, as we might go places and play our game and try to win, not hold on from a draw at shit teams like Norwich! What's your most memorable game against NUFC?When we turned you over 4-0 at home. We were in unbelievable form and playing some brilliant football. Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?
Embarrassing. Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side?
Cabaye or Ben Arfa. Cisse is different to what we've got. Debauchy looks a good player too. Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?
Smug twat, average manager. Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
Really don't know. Could easily take top 10 with the squad you've got but something just doesn't seem right. People no longer see you as a big club, and play you without any real fear. I'll say 11th

Abdy Faye equalised in the 90' minute. He did not win it for us. Right you are, was getting muddled with the following season when we grabbed a win up there. Perch OG and Huth ;-)

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? Better football, more goals and generally more entertainment. Hopefully top 10 but mid table with better football will be ok.
Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? A 15 goals+ striker, more pace in the team
Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? For the league at the moment it has to be Jesus Navas for Man City but for stoke the two new boys(Pieters and Muniesa)
Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Charlie Adam, Brek Shea, maybe Michael Kightly
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Etherington(if he plays) Which fixtures do you immediately look for? All the 'Big' teams at Home, WBA away Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? WBA the most, especially with it being last game of the season now!
What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
Got to be when we equalised to make it 2-2 through Abdoulaye Faye late on as it was so dramatic!Although the 4-0 win, 2 seasons ago was superb.
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? Sounds mental to be honest, don't really know why you've got him.
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Hatem Ben Arfa, Sissoko, and Yohan Cabaye Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? Alright manager, unlikeable character though
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? Mid-table with us, 9th-14th
Thanks in advance for any and all answers. I'll be back here to collate them before sticking them on a Newcastle site before the season kicks off.

What's a realistic aim for your team this season? 8th to 15th...but mainly a better mental attitude and approach towards our gamesWhere do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? Would like to see a couple of new guys up front. But, this all depends on what Hughes can get out of the ones we've got. Also need something in midfield unless Palacios, Cameron, Whelan or Wilson can step up to the plateWhich new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Have to say that Gerard Deulofeu at Everton might be interesting, even though its only loan. Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Redmond at Norwich. Swansea have done well to get de Guzman on loan again too, and will have to see what Bony does. Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Our new striker Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Might be a surprise but Shawcross or Huth. They wont have as much protection as they have previously had and both can get caught positionally. A few bad games and it could knock confidence and maybe even see them dropped Which fixtures do you immediately look for? First game, boxing day, new years day, last game. I dont have any team that i specifically look forWhich away game are you looking forward to the most/least? Spurs away. It's not too far from where I live and I know plenty of Spurs fansWhat's your most memorable game against NUFC? 4-0Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? Gets a lot of stick from Geordies and a lot of blame for relegation even though he'd got you up to 12th. Keegan and Shearer seem to have escaped all criticism but thats hardly a surprise. I also think its less to do with what I think about the Kinnear debacle, but more of Ashley Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Kebabs Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? He's up there with Adkins in terms of smugness and a grandeur of self delusion so fits in well with NewcastleWhere do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? Honestly have no idea.

All right lads, in preparation for the new season I thought I'd get the lay of the land from Premier League clubs before it kicks off and the majority of us are too depressed to answer a bunch of questions from a stranger.
What's a realistic aim for your team this season? 9-12
Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? Midfielder and a forward
Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Munsiesa Peters no big players for other teams really as they're usually divers and cheats too, well the big money ones can be.
Which of your players do you predict having a big season? none, team effort with us
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? as above
Which fixtures do you immediately look for? LFC WBA Cardiff Arse Manu Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? WBA most Manure least
What's your most memorable game against NUFC? Getting gubbed and conned by Ginola in the 90's 4-1? 4-0? Us He's a cheat and you know he is. You He's class and you know he is. He was, still a cheat though.
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? I think he could have done a good job if Pardew has final say. Since then I've heard the crap he's spouted and to be honest he should already have been shown the door before ink had dried. Laughable.
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Only Denba Ba...... oh sorry Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? I've always thought him an arrogant prick and very lucky to het your job then when he did well, thought he was better than I thought. Now starting to think he was lucky the other year.
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? 12-16 But think usual NTFC soap opera could get you in trouble this year

Pieters & Muniesa !!
Which of your players do you predict having a big season?
Pieters and Muniesa!!
Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season?
Which fixtures do you immediately look for?
Home to Man Yoo and Liverpool
Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least?
Most WBA least Chelsea
What's your most memorable game against NUFC?
26/12/89
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle?
It's a strange episode. Is it an attempt at constructive dismissal? If the same effort and expense was put into supporting Pardew the club would be healthier on and off the pitch.
Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth?
Cabaye Ben Arfa and Sissoko. I've never noticed any wind ups. IMHO he's a good manager and he deserves support from all fo you up there.
Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season?
Upper mid table but you shouldn't be flippabnt about the cups. A trophy is still your holy grail.

Uh oh, a Geordie in peace, too many pints haha In answer to your questions: What's a realistic aim for your team this season? Can't see why we should be aiming for anything less than top 10, for the first time since we got promoted. I'd love 7th or 8th as it would really demonstrate how far our team has come.Where do your team need to strengthen to achieve this? I'm not sure we necessarily need to add more players, but we need to lose the square pegs in round holes which I believe Hughes will do and aim to win more away games, rather than sitting back for the draw.Which new Premier League players are you looking forward to seeing? Erik Pieters - Dutch International, a left back, and a player who looks like he has real quality.Which of your players do you predict having a big season? Charlie Adam - this is his season in my opinion.Which of your players do you expect to have a disappointing season? Hard question, but I'm not convinced Crouch still has his heart set on playing for Stoke City anymore. Shame really.Which fixtures do you immediately look for? Arsenal, Man City, West Brom and (This season) Cardiff Which away game are you looking forward to the most/least? Most - Man Utd (Home) Least - Man Utd (Away)
What's your most memorable game against NUFC? The 2-0 down, back to 2-2 at St James Park. I was there, and the place was mental after the second goal. I ended up being crushed after the two lads behind me fell over the seats on the second goal hahah. A cracking day and one I won't forget
Newcastle have been in the papers for all the wrong reasons again, what's your take on the Kinnear debacle? You're a c*nt Haha, actually "We're not for Kinnear" haha, sorry had to be done. Can't say I'm surprised he's back I'm just amazed that he still wants to do this with his history of serious heart conditions. The man must really not give a shit what his doctor recommends lol.Which Newcastle players would you like to see in your side? I'd take Cabaye.Pardew winds up quite a few opposition managers, what's your take on him? Is he just playing mind games? Or is he an Average/Bad manager with a mouth? He's alright. He has a ten year contract, so he's not too worried about life at the moment.Where do you expect Newcastle to finish this season? Do not care so long as it's below us

Im wondering about the real question on here really will Newcastle stay up next season ? That's a great question, if a little off topic. But here's my ten pence worth. It's not looking good up there at all. But where do you start with a clusterf**k like that? Whatever "touch" Pardew seemed to have had in the 2011-12 season has now clearly buggered off. He's clutching at straws in the transfer market but only if Joe Kinnear will agree to it. Gary Neville's comments about French players were also fairly scathing (but also very true) and the whole dreadful Cisse sponsor situation, if not managed effectively (and remember this is Newcastle we are talking about...god help us all if Kinnear gets anywhere near those discussions), has the political potential to blow up in not just Newcastle's face but also in the Premiership's. It's very difficult to understand how a Club that went so well just 2 seasons ago are now likely relegation candidates, but that one seasons form really has to be regarded as a blip. For the 2nd half of last season they were the leagues classic freefallers. After the St. James' Park renaming fiasco in 2011 you'd think that somebody ought to be getting a grip on things, yet they just seem to learn nothing and lurch from a one shoe in the cow shit to slipping on a banana skin and then falling down a manhole type of scenario. Since getting his fingers burned with Keegan and falling out with a few of the fans and then Alan Shearers failed rescue attempt, Mike Ashley got fed up with Geordies and only appointed Pearly Kings to the top jobs after that. The likes of Dennis Wise, Joe Kinnear, Chris Hughton and Alan Pardew had (in footballing terms) never been north of Watford (OK, Wise was at Leeds). I'm purely guessing here but I get a really strong feeling that these are Mike's boozing pals that get offered jobs after he's tipped 10 pints of ale down his neck on a Saturday night. Ashley: "Alan I love you...i'm going to give you a 5 no..no scrap that, an 8 year contract, hic". And reading between the lines there can be no doubt that Joe Kinnear is simply Mike's old enforcer. Ashley: "Joe, I love you, I want you to get up back up there and sort Pardew and Lambazzyy out, they're getting waaaay too big for their boots, hic". However, it seemed that Mike forgot to ring in and tell anyone about Joe's new job and had a cheeky lie in the next day, so the new Director of Football's appointment was totally missed by the Clubs PR department. However, not to worry, Joe's a resourceful chap who can pick up the phone and call any manager, anywhere in the world. So this should be a doddle. However on that day Joe didn't call any of his manager contacts and decided to save everyone the bother by announcing his new role to the world all by himself. After creating a shitstorm of epic proportions, later that day, Joe decided to get onto TalkSport to smooth things over. That one radio interview will always be remembered for getting almost all of the senior Newcastle players names wrong as well as getting Derek Llambias' name wrong as well. To the casual observer, it was simply hilarious and not only the biggest PR gaffe in Premiership history but the lowest point in Ashley's tenure at Newcastle. Llambias, a man who was never popular with the Geordie faithful quickly saved his reputation by immediately tendering his resignation. You can imagine Mike Ashley waking up around Sunday lunchtime, a bit hungover, scratching his bollocks and yawning whilst flicking through the TV channels, only to spit his tea out when he sees Joe's face plastered all over Sky Sports News proclaiming his imminent return to the Sports Direct Arena or whatever name Mike was running with that week, as the new DOF at Newcastle United. It's totally obvious that there's no roadmap, no masterplan and no care. They are shooting from the hip and making it up as they go along until a buyer eventually stumps up the £250mill and gets on with the business of developing a way forward for (and I don't agree with SAF's "wee club" description) what is a very big Club. I think the Geordie fans have been very patient, but i'm sure that any more nonsense from these clowns will see the crowds turn. It gives me no pleasure to say this, but the Club's public facing management are in total disarray and Newcastle are, for the first time in my memory, regarded as a bit of a joke. Whilst the Newcastle United Foundation is a real positive, and their scouting system has produced results, Ashley is clearly not enjoying the ride and he'll slowly ruin the club if the "mothballed 'til I can sell it" approach he demonstrates is allowed to carry on. So for me Tony, not only does relegation look like a possible outcome for Newcastle, but the whole sorry situation bears all the hallmarks of a Man Cityesque type meltdown, courtesy of a one way ticket to oblivion and a 10 year hiatus into the very specific pleasures of the lower leagues.
