....Eh? How do you work that out? If we weren't part of Europe they wouldn't be able to take the case to the European Court

AND with regard to Qatar in 2022
If they agree to move it to the winter -because of the stupid location they have chosen
the English FA should say
'we're not coming'
followed by
'fuck your mickey mouse competition anyways - we'll organise a proper tournament ourselves'

This is why a season ticket at Stoke is such good value. Stoke first England can fuck off

I'd sooner be sitting there in t shirt and shorts than freezing my bollocks off in the middle of winter.

Try playing football outdoors in a Qatari summer
twenty minutes in
players start dying
and anyone walking about out side the environmentally controlled stadiums
will start dying of dehydration and heat exhaustion
there's summer
and there's the life threatening dry heat of an Arabian desert in midsummer
ffs !

The caption under the pic just in case you forgot what an international match could potentially look like:-
Fifa's proposal meant fans in the UK would have had to pay to watch World Cup matches such as Spain v Paraguay

Several of the England players don't run around enough to drop from exhaustion.

Thought heat wouldn't be an issue as they are building these state of the art lardy da stadiums with top bollocks air conditioning inside to keep plans and fans cool... Blatter must be getting a massive amount of dollar for this sh*t

This whole case sums up the bollox hypocrisy of FIFA. They say they want the game to be open to everyone yet wanted the rights to be exclusive to pay TV providers...... therefore reducing the amount of people who can watch.
The other bollox is it's unlikely cable channels would be prepared to pay more than BBC or ITV anyway. Cable providers like customers to be long term and in that respect the World Cup wouldn't be that much of a worthy purchase. Loads of people would get it just for a month and it might not cover the cost of the outlay.

It is funny isn't it. You would have thought 'small technicalities' such as the entire tournament moving to Winter, going against all history and the bigger leagues worldwide, would be part of their world cup bid!? Just shows their world cup bid was literally a brown bag stuffed with cash, and nothing else whatsoever. No thought has gone into it .
