Promising news regarding Mama. Come on son, make it a hat-trick this time 22/04/2008 - 4pm update: Mama on the mend MAMA Sidibe appears to be on course to declare himself fit for Saturday's possible promotion decider at Colchester. Scans on the ankle he injured three days ago have revealed no break or serious damage. The Mali international remains sidelined from training so far this week, but has every chance of throwing his hat into the ring at Layer Road on Saturday. Sidibe left the Britannia on crutches and with his ankle heavily strapped on Saturday evening after pulling up lame in the latter stages of his two-goal blast in the 2-1 win over Bristol City. But he is now walking freely again and remaining under close observation by the club's medical team. Stoke's squad - still buzzing this week after establishing a potentially critical three-point gap over third-placed Hull - has been further boosted by the sight of Salif Diao returning to full training. The one-time Senegal midfielder has trained as normal for the last two days and reported no ill-effects on the hamstring injury he sustained in the 1-1 draw with Blackpool on March 22. Liam Lawrence has sat out full training so far this week as a precaution against his groin injury flaring up again before Saturday.
