I think a lot depends on how good the franchisee is - anyone used a local they can recommend???

I tried calling them once......left a message......no reply........called again......left another message......no reply I left it. This was on the Fylde .... not Stoke-on-Trent |

I've used them many times and they're superb. The local guy is called Noel and he's brilliant.

Seems to me that, even if you go to a car body repairer to get a dink or dent or scratch sorted, they all use the same man with a van who goes from place to place. So 'Chipsaway' or whatever they call themselves are just the same as going to a pukka body repair place. £80 is about the going rate around where I live, had a job done last month.

Can't fault the ChipsAway bloke round our way - does the job for quoted price and on time. You'd never know there was a scratch there. Also gave me some tips on polishing and waxing stuff.

Chap's name is Richard Hamilton - I think his patch is Warrington, but not sure how far that extends - probably Runcorn as well. I thought I had his number in my phone, but mustn't have saved it. I'll have a dig round and see if I can find it. If you ring CA's main number and specify a particular franchisee, they may put you in touch. |
