Can't see why he would have such a good season at Sunderland and then come to Stoke? Surely there will be bigger fish after him?

Man Yoo might do but they aren't going to go for Danny Rose. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City don't. Everton might do if Baines goes to Man Yoo so they could be possible. But after those clubs it's much of muchness. And Spurs probably do because Assou-Ekotto is garbage and they'll want Vertonghen at centre half. Rose could stay there.

Cattermole is a tough one as the reaction shows. Decent player imo but I think I'd avoid him due to his injuries and temperament but won't be too arsed if he signs for a decent fee.

I don't understand why Spurs wouldn't want to keep hold of him. Or Sunderland, come to that. If he comes here it'd be a great bit of business.

He probably wants to be a regular in the starting 11 and he might have been told he won't be at Spurs! When it comes to Sland I guess it will depend who of us will offer the best deal for him.

Id rather have cattermole than Ireland. If the fee and wages were good for us. But we really need a lb..

Rose is top drawer
Cattermole would be a good player for half a season.....he'd be suspended for the other half

Rose has impressed me almost everytime I've seen him play and I have seen him play seveveral times! Think he will go on to make the left back position his in the national side too one day. Totally agree, very good player, sadly I can see a bigger club than us wanting him.

They could be a possibility but barring them I can't see what options he'd have in this country.

You're right they aren't many, perhaps we could get him. I hated him when he played at the Brit but would love to see him down Stoke. Can't see why Spurs would let him leave tbh.

The danger would be Everton if Baines left imo.

As for Wigan I guess it's Figgy or Beausejour. So that's one down and I can't really imagie Beausejour at Everton.

I can't see Rose coming to Stoke in all honesty.
If we is going to move anywhere then you would assume that it would be back to Sunderland.
Having said that I would expect him to stay at Spurs this season and battle to be first choice left back.

6 millions is an absolute steal when you compare some of the players we have spunked 5 million on before.
Its definitely worth a crafty bid. Looking at resale value we will definitely get our moneys worth there.
Not like Messrs Crouch, Kitson, Whitehead, Palacios
