Loved their first two albums, and loved the following two for totally different reasons.
They've gone very "american" since their third album. This song sounds like something the Black Keys would come out with (which isn't a bad thing at all).

Used to be a fan until they managed to play the two worst concerts I've ever seen and the lead singer went right up his own arse, circa the time he started going out with Alexa Chung. Not been able to listen to them quite the same since.

Not been able to listen to them quite the same since. Was one of these at Leeds Fest a few years back? I've seen them once at Don Valley, Sheffield homecoming gig and they were absolutely immense.

No mate, first time at Lancashire Cricket Ground and second time at a festival in Belgium.
First was a disaster gig from start to finish, second time - I've never seen anyone look so less arsed about performing than Alex Turner, and I've seen a few bands. Didn't go down well with the crowd, put it that way.

Boring, shoe gazing, trendy shite that radio one and the nme will no doubt wank themselves into a frenzy over.

Old Monkeys were far better 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' & 'Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not'

This just sounds like a slowed-down version of 'R U Mine'.
I really like AM and think 'Suck it and See' is their best work. They've not done a bad album yet, so hopefully the new one will carry on where that left off.

Meh. Boring, shoe gazing, trendy shite that radio one and the nme will no doubt wank themselves into a frenzy over. Each to their own I suppose. Please do not compare Arctic Monkeys to shoegaze, as that is a complete and utter insult to the whole shoegaze genre.....Arctic Monkeys are over rated, over hyped and fucking boring. there tunes all sound the same, and this latest 'effort' sounds nothing more than a rejig of Are You Mine.
