It said on teletext this morning that Arsenal were entertaining 5 (yes 5!) bids of circa £3m for Bendtner!

He's not as good as he thinks he is but I do wonder whether he could still rediscover his undoubted talent. Mardarse though.

apparently he is humbling a bit realising he will have to drop a level (not necessary a division) to play football more regulary.
i dont think he is shit but he is no where as good as he thinks he is

One of the best, if not the best header of the ball in the Premier League on his day. Just a shame his attitude is appalling and he'd cause nothing but trouble if we signed him.

Up and coming Danish forward, Cornelius may be a better investment.

At a price that may be worth the risk but wages may be a stumbling block. Scored 22 in 99 games with a good number as substitute. Back to his best could be good value.

When he was being linked a few seasons ago i was gutted he didn't sign and Crouch did but now Pulis has gone i hope Stoke can move on from a big man up front, but saying that playing with 2 wingers and support, he could have a good impact

Bendtner is a good player and still young. The problem with Bendtner is, according to a lot of players who have played with him, that he is so full of himself. He also seems to keep on making a fool of himself when he is out on the town, but hopefully he will mature soon!

Roque Santa Cruz Adebayor Zamora (Fulham & QPR)

Never saw Santa Cruz as a big target man in the true sense. He was good at Blackburn though but massively lost his form at Citeh!

I can't believe he's still only 25. Decent but I'd prefer a bit more power. he also seems to dissapear a lot in games. Wouldn't be gutted if we signed him.

He'd probably still be more prolific than the one month wonder that is Jones!

A certain flop after the first couple of games - has failed at clubs below the level that we want to be perfoming at so why would we entertain signing this player? Odd sparkling performance aside a fair weather, low work rate, bottler for most of his career. Has Hughes no broader grasp of the transfer market than Mr Pulis? Why are we being linked with has-beens and failures FFS!!

Is Bendtner's father still at the club discussing a deal?

Not necessarily negative for his ability on the pitch though.

This wing mirror-smashing, kebab shop tantrum-throwing, champagne on cornflakes-eating weasel, who celebrates his goals by revealing his underpants, lives in a castle with a billionaire baroness and complains bitterly that he's not allowed to go skiing with his friends, is right up there with Jose Bosingwa as the player I'd least like us to sign.

Don't forget he is a very good player and still young! More to his game than both Jones and Crouch in my opinion, but his attitude is a concern though!

Was a flop at Sunderland, very similar side to us. No better than we have.

Was a flop at Sunderland, very similar side to us. No better than we have. Maybe he was a flop there, but he scored 8 goals in 28 games though! Not too bad for a flop in my opinion! Maybe we should bring more flops in to increase our goal tally?

Odd sparkling performance aside a fair weather, low work rate, bottler for most of his career. Has Hughes no broader grasp of the transfer market than Mr Pulis? Why are we being linked with has-beens and failures FFS!! and it's started already.......... 1) the newly promoted clubs will be linked with just about every player that's available 2) clubs like us (with a new manager who is going to have a clearout and bring new players) will be linked with just about every player that's available neither of the above mean absolutely anything in reality other than journalists have to come up with stories so their "Sources" will link every name with every club that fits the 2 categories above to make sure they have a story! you may want to wait until some quotes from Hughes or the club come out BEFORE you start casting apersions on Hughes transfer nouse and what he's planning to do mate...it's called silly season for a reason, there'll be literally dozens and dozens of names that we'll be "Linked" with over the next couple of months but 99% of them will have no substance or truth behind them whatsoever
