Why give the worlds biggest sporting event to a country where you can't drink and you'll probably get jailed for kissing your missus. Damn that blatter. Boycott Qatar.

Yes, and that's with the likes of Wenger as competition. A corrupt, morally bankrupt cunt of the highest order, and it makes me angry whenever I remember he's supposedly in charge of the whole of sodding football. How FIFA get away with being so stunningly and obviously corrupt I do not know.
Fuck Blatter, FIFA, oh and fuck Qatar for good measure, but they're just getting what they paid for.

I'd definitely get jailed for kissing my missus! Hope Qatar is an unmitigated disaster, at least Blatter should be long retired by then.

Blatter definitely, Platini close behind, he used to whinge about the premiership and all the money involved, been rather quiet lately with PSG and now Monaco waving sugardaddy chequebooks around, useless ****

They'd never let someone from England into their 'gang', like a Bobby Charlton. All corrupt as fuck. Like platini and his FFP brought in when England were strong in Europe. Bet he had dealings to get mega rich people into the French league and then it's what FFP?

We should just sod fifa off and be separate all together. One of the last straws was the fa cup final starting to be moved about so the pitch isnt effected for the cl final.

You can drink in licensed premises in Qatar. You just can't be drunk in a public place (same as in this country).

I could go out in the street and get smashed, as long as I can still walk and aren't acting disorderly, there is no law against it. Back to Qatar though, I couldn't think of a worse destination. A country with no football heritage, no appropriate stadiums (yet) and I'm sure the prospect in playing in 45c+ is absolutely frightening to some footballers. The heat alone will affect the the quality of football. Awful awful awful decision.

Brazil then Russia then most of the European Football Associations should stick two fingers up to F.I.F.A. and go there own way, for a tournament that will be held in a country or countries with a reasonable climate, infrastructure, and with a population that show a willingness to party? Sepp Blatters F.I.F.A.and Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Qatar have similar election processes Qatari Election

You can just imagine it can't you - England get bloody Argentina and the fans are bantering and singing the hell out of each other. The Quatari cops are gonna have to make one of their 'football' stadiums a temporary jail cos every single one of em fans is gonna be breaking their laws! Blatter might be dead by then, or counting his money. Or telling the ladies not to stay at home. Or swearing at Platini on the Telly when Platini hands over the world cup, unless he ain't got Platini banned on an invisible corruption charge. FIFA Fooking Ignorant Fooking Atrocious. Ahh thats better

Andy Townsend just shades it for me. said to my mate the other day that Townsend's "punditry" is such an extreme case of stating the obvious that it ends up sounding more like audio description for the blind! my favourite comment was when England played a couple of years ago and Walcott shot at the near post instead of going across the keeper "If you're going to miss then miss at the far post not at the near post"...if you're going to miss Andy then it doesn't frigging well matter which post you miss at!!! having said that, i never get tired of this though.........
