I'm not saying it won't happen but I do know the intention is not to sell Asmir first up and it is intended that Butland is loaned to a Premier League side in the way Foster was when he was at Watford from Man U.

I wouldn't expect the team to change much, with Begovic leaving and most likely N'Zonzi too. Shawcross might be a doubt for the team, Pulis was a big reason he signed the contract extension.
Butland - Presume he will be trusted, and if he is then Sorensen will leave, and we will pick up an experienced backup keeper for cheap.
Pieters - We have been in for him before, and would suit us perfectly.
Cavanda - Rumoured to be interested along with Everton, and his pace would be fantastic down our right side.
Redmond - Complete shot in the dark, but I'd imagine that this is the kind of winger we will be interested in.
Hoilett - Swap deal for Crouch makes sense, and should get it done ASAP
Substitutes:
[Experienced Keeper] [New Centre Back] Wilkinson/Shotton Cameron (Utility player, defence or midfield) Cuvelier (MUST be given a shot!) Shea (MUST be given a shot!) [New Striker]

3 times during his press conference LMH said there would no major changes to the existing first team squad. I don't expect much activity in the transfer window. That's because you do not want word to get out that you are a major buying team, cuz then selling teams hike up the prices, bide our time, get players at realistic prices and do not appear desperate.

Begovic
New RB Huth Shawcross Pieters
Adam
Hoilett Wilson Nzonzi Ince
Crouch
Subs: Butland Wilko Walters Jerome Whelan Shea AN Other Defender
I think the line up above can get the best out of our better players (Adam, Crouch, Wilson Nzonzi etc) And have two flyers getting past Crouchy plus Adam pulling the strings from deep. Wilson and Nzonzi will give us better ball retention, and quality, plus they will be strong defensively.

Of players being linked it could be something like
-------------------------------Butland-----------------------------
Wilson------------Huth-----------------Ryan----------Pieters
--------------Wanyama-----Adam-----NZonzi---------------
-----------Redmond--------------------------Shea-------------
-------------------------------Cornelius--------------------------
Lots of goals in that side, young, a bit of pace and not a complete revamp.

Butland (19) Wilson(25) huth(28) shawcross(25) pieters(24) Hoilett(22) wanyama(21) nzonzi(24) shea(23) Zarate(26) Bony(24)
That means about 25 million spent Bony 8million? Wanyama 10million Pieters 4million Hoilett 2million (minus crouch)
And gives us an average age of about 23.
That is a dream team, possible and sustainable.

It's going to be a very busy summer with new managers at so many PL teams as well as the likes of Bayern, Real Madrid so plenty of ins and outs all over the place. I reckon our starting 11 at the start of next season could easily have 5 or 6 new faces in it.
Exciting times!

Can we cross Palacios of the list, or do we think he'll be given a fair chance under Hughes?

I really can't see why so many people on here think we need a new right back? I actually think this is where we have best cover! I also think Shotton, Wilson, Cameron and Wilko are good enough options for that spot indeed! Spend the money elsewhere!

I wouldn't be surprised if we start the season without a single new signing.
Hughes made the mistake of destabilising his previous club with pre-season signings. He says he has learned his lesson.
