Does John Cross know anything? Did he break the story on...something, a while back?

Just fuck right off.
One of the main reasons I accepted Pulis had to go was because the divide it was causing amongst fans was massively counter productive.
And now we are on about hiring someone is who is going to create a divide again straight from the off. I don't think there is a more unpopular appointment out there than Hughes.

Take QPR off his CV and he's really not that bad at all!!!
Bit of a miserable twat? Maybe. Perfect? Probably not. Better managerial record and more of an attack minded manager than Pulis? Yes.

Yeah that's my biggest worry. Hughes and the club are already on the back foot because judging from this board, generally speaking, he isn't wanted.

That post makes no structural sense whatsoever but my point is that we could do a lot, lot worse.

Of all the linked candidates, Hughes easily has the best credentials and is probably the best of them.

It was a fact that Peter Coates thought a lot of Tony Pulis, so the odds were he would go for someone of a similar style.

FFS you can't count Megson because he's not a serious option. Of the realistic candidates out there, he is the most divisive. Ignore it if you like but it's palpable.
