Reina is most likely going to Spain. (No "the Reina in Spain falls mainly....." quips please! LOL)
If Bego does go to the Bindippers, so be it. I hope that Stoke get a bloody good cash or cash/player deal out of it.
One thing though? When we bought Bego, did Pompey have a percent clause written into any future sales?

At this rate if Rafa comes and Bego, nzonsi and all the others out of contract or will be leaving, plus what will be in the kity, Rafa will be able bring mata and Torres with him!
I think we wil have one big war chest, to help move in this new direction

So long as we get the best deal possible, I don't care where Begovic goes.
As good as he is and as good as he will become, he is as big a mercenary as you could wish for.
Tommy won't let us down and will bring some much needed character back into our team.

This isn't as bad as people are making out. Sorro is still a very good keeper and has a couple of seasons left in him and Butland will get better and better to take his place.
And Bego to Liverpool means no European Football for him in the foreseeable future.

Fingers crossed Butland can make the step up.

It doesn't fill me with terror at all and I don't see why it should anyone else.
2/3 howlers per game simply isn't true.
Sorenson has rarely, if ever, let Stoke City down and if he becomes our no.1 for another season, he will step up to the plate admirably as he always has done.
Sorenson was one of Pulis' best signings and I wouldn't be in the least bit worried were he playing for us regularly next season.

We've got Butland anyway.
As said above, Beggo going was only a matter of time so let's get as much as we can out of Liverpool. They have a record of paying over the odds so we should use the Andy Carrol argument and squeeze 50+ million out of them.
We should also be able to get 6m+ for N'Zonzi, so with the sale of Beggo (let's say 10m), that will give the new manager 16m, plus the customary 20m to spend this summer... a total of 36m. Plus maybe some other cash from outgoing transfers.
I think that's more than enough to bring in some very good players and strengthen the weaker areas of the squad.
Really not worried in the slightest.

Surprised that Champions League clubs arent in for Bego - to be fair it's well known those clubs are very interested - If Liverpool are selling Reina & are prepared to pay the £15m then fine. Given LFC were unable - or unwilling - to pay £7m for Ince last Jan (didnt they offer £4m & tehn they wondered why Blackpool laughed in their face?)you would have to question their ability to spend £15m on a keeper
Arsenal is the obvious English champions League club for him & they ahve teh acsh but Wenger seems unwilling to spend £15m either
As for Nzonzi, much more of a worry for me.

Also nicknamed the flapper. Good shot stopper but theyre a common breed.

I'd love an exchange deal with Downing. Say Downing + 8m or around 15m with no player exchange.
NZonzi I'd rate at around 6m

I'd get in an experienced head just in case Butland struggles how about either Rob Green or Mark Schawrzer who's not been offered a new contract.

Its a bit presumptuous of him to state that he wants to join up with Liverpool on 10th of July when he's still contracted to us,if we sell him it'll be on our terms and who ever will pay the biggest price.

We knew Bego was leaving- N'zonzi 1 goal more than the despised Whelan- really what is the loss? Gods, this is the cleft stick that your hero bequeathed to his Successor. Some legacy don't you think? I am glad he's gone - I reckoned you could see what was coming if we kept TP but clearly I was wrong. That's it hoof, you just invent a bleak future under TP which never happened, you couldn't make it up. Although your earlier attempt at measuring N'Zonzi's contribution to the cause purely on goals scored should have prepared me for the TP fantasy future which followed.

10-12million and he should be able to leave, we have Butland so no dramas.
If the new manager has 30million to spend then all is good and we may actually buy a decent fullback.

Agree, Butland is a ready made replacement so getting in a decent winger would be ideal.

If this is the case, we cannot allow him to go cheaply.get as much as possible, for a great goalie. He saved us some points this season, without a doubt!

Much better news this as the same report said he was going to scouse for 6 mill which is vastly underpriced!
