So the 2 line "statement" on Pulis departure has now been superseded by asking female players to attend trials.
Show him some bloody respect and lets get an official statement and at least a thank you out there before end of the month hey guys.

It isn't just Mr P who didn't really give a damn about the fans

It is certainly bizarre.
It either being handled very badly indeed or we're close to making an appointment and they want to do it all in one go.
I'd probably plump for the former going on past experience.

I'm more interested on what Tony Scholes's holiday plans are for this year. That's normally captivating.

I assume that they have to have the green light from Scholes or Coates to release a statement, I guess they've not been given it.

Wouldn't surprise me if we hadn't really expected to sack him yesterday but the meeting went badly, they argued, Pulis got sacked/walked out and then Coates spent the rest of the day trying to get him back. Pulis then probably did a its them or me ultimatum and then the statement got released!.

Think they'll wait until the backroom staff are sorted, then release a full statement.

The USB is knackered on the club keyboard so they're discussing which shop to call in and purchase a replacement.

Piss up and a brewery come to mind.
It doesn't reflect well on the club when they can't even release a proper statement confirming the manager leaving!

Perhaps the 'meeting' went badly and the terms of any settlement are now a legal matter.
The wording of any statement would need to accurately reflect the outcome...

The website is managed by a third party, fyi. There's the answer then. Outsourcing this sort of thing is always, without fail, a bad idea.

The website is managed by a third party, fyi. That shouldn't stop the club issuing a statement in a timely manner.

No but if there's a delay on the statement, a third party is not well equipped enough to deal with an interim statement (nor, in all likelihood, is it a priority of theirs. ie: client hasn't given us an update, got other things/clients to deal with, falls down priority list, ends up with token effort at best).

I wish they'd release a timetable at least, this waiting is killing me!
