Knot FM bring you Stoke City's Tony Pulis talking ahead of Stoke's last fixture V Southampton Tony mentions that the game is important for the three points, that we can still gain our highest finish in the Premier League . He also discusses the contribution of Owen, Begovic and Wilkinson. He states when we ask that he wants to stay. He also mentions that Brek Shea may get a run out if fit and Owen will be in the squad for his farewell game in pro football. Also talks about his plans for himself and the squad over the next few weeks. www.knotfm.co.uk/audio-tony-pulis-ahead-of-southampton/

Pity you cannot put the questions in even if you read in what the question was assuming you are not allowed to broadcast other peoples questions.
Your headline on your site reads " pre-Spurs" not pre-Southampton.

Stokiejoe. It says Southampton now, you must have been the first one to listen before it updated, but thanks for telling us. Your assumptions are correct. We just try to bring a flavour of the press conference

"Are you staying?" TP: "I hope so"

Seems there is clearly still some doubt in TP's mind as to whether he is staying or not or else he would not say "I hope so".
I think he should be ok, it would be wreckless in the extreme to summarily fire a manager who has proven he can keep us in this division and deliver a pipe and slippers finish year after year with, well, we don't know what.
A new manager might work out of course, but boy, it would be nerve wracking finding out.

Some of what he said sounded like he was unsure of his future at the club...

He sounded like he had no idea and is just going about his work in hope

I think we are know realising why he keeps referring to the Coates family instead of "Peter" because "Peter" may well be no longer making the decisions in a short while.

Can I ask why it is that you can't broadcast the questions by other people at the press conference? When I watch a press conference on, say, BBC TV, they don't just broadcast the questions by their own reporter, they often show the questions by ITV, Sky and Channel 5 for example. Surely, it is in the interests of ALL the broadcasters at a press conference to at least have the choice of broadcasting the questions (by other media) and not just the answers?

So there we still have it...our concerns still come down to not appreciating things or that we've taken a few knocks recently I hope that clarifies things

If he truly wishes to stay then why is it he still remains such a stubborn bastard? Wont go for the win, wont play the players he knows will win the games and wont grow a spine.
