The only difference between the dog and Farage is that one talks a good tale , and the other wags a good tail... I thought the dog was talking a lot of sense myself....each to their own opinion of course

conditions are more important to me than how i get paid. Do i get sick pay? pension? benefits? etc
Currently I'm salaried, get paid 4 weekly which is a pain for sorting bills but with planning i get an extra pay check which is free to spend spend spend!

For me it’s salary and working in the public sector. I had 38 teaching in the further/higher education sector with 12 weeks holiday a year , sick pay and on retirement a lump sum and inflation linked pension.
I know that I was a lucky boy. Also there was never any chance of redundancy as my subjects were Physics , Maths and Nuclear Science which were essential subjects for the trainees and apprentices I taught.

I appreciate it's not always the case, but when i was starting out all the shit jobs were hourly paid, and the decent ones were salaried, so I've always leaned towards salary. Plus, in my industry you dont really get contractors/hourly employees.
I probably do 60 hours a week and have to spend time away from home when required, but the salary, benefits and bonuses make up for that.
