We have loads who just aren't up to playing at this level just depends what you aim to do. If you want to carry on doing what we do and pumping it forward to no one in particular why bother getting premier players they won't do it any better and will sulk about having to do it. Its football for donkeys why waste shit loads of money for that. |

Worryingly, Pulis has generally failed over the last 3 windows when we've only needed 2 or 3 additions in key positions each time.
If we think we need a good half a dozen replacements at least, is he going to fare any better...?

Under a different manager (hopefully) there would be case for all the championship plodders to be fucked off as they would hardly figure.

In my opinion none of the above are good enough to cut it week in,week out at premier league level.
There are probably more in our squad and its a pretty damning indictment on our transfer policy over the last few seasons.

Eh up, it's the return of the Champ Manager, managers.
You can't get rid of so many players and then replace them with the same number, it would cause too much disruption.
I would keep,
Shotton, turning into a good right back
Crouch, good player, and showed this during the last two games.
Whelan, could be replace with better, but knows the club inside out. Useful squad member.
Walters, for obvious reasons.
Cameron, I would love to see in midfield. useful utility player.
Jerome, offers pace and goals when called upon.
Kightly, there is a player there, just needs games.
Players to leave.

We face the very real danger of having to replace a lot of players very quickly, in much the same way that QPR had to and that can cause problems.
Until the future of our manager is decided, it is impossible to comment really but don't we have 7 players out of contract in the Summer? That alone is some overhaul, without even contemplating getting shut of the likes of Whelan (I wouldn't want him to go by the way), Palacios, Jones, Etherington, Shotton and Walters.
It is going to be a very big and very important Summer.

Even if TP stays, it's amazing how much there is to be done just to get a functioning Pulis squad.
Which makes a change pretty attractive this time around with a new man overseeing the rebuild with the cash influx and one-off chunk of wage bill flexibility.
