For a minute there it looked like we were in a death spiral. Arresting a free-fall must be one of the hardest tasks in football, and achieving back to back wins and guaranteeing another year in the top flight is a huge achievement.
I still think the club needs fresh ideas in the dugout. But well done for getting us over the line this term, and obviously a world of thanks for getting us to the top table at all.

Yeah, major relief. I thought we played pretty well today and certainly the best home performance we've put in for a while. I also think the club needs to go in a new direction which I doubt Pulis is capable of, but he's spurred us on in these last 2 games so credit where it's due.
We've also been fortunate in how these past 2 games have been against 2 teams who have put in the worst 2 performances I've seen this season.
We're 12th FFS

I really don't think a new manager could do better with out current squad, i've said before that Pulis needs to go but imagine a new manager coming in and doing a QPR, massive wage bills and over rated players achieving nothing

So a new manager should be able to come in and put his mark on the squad during this transfer window.

There's no new manager coming in, Coates isn't daft, he needs to gaurantee that Stoke remain on the gravy train, and Pulis is delivering season after season.. Well done to the team, well done Tony Pulis, well done Peter Coates Happy days

> Stoke boss Tony Pulis after his side's 1-0 win over Norwich: "We deserved to win today, we created more opportunities. The three points are vital because we have tough games coming up. Our first challenge is always to stay in the Premier League, anything else is a bonus."
> Pulis said his players would not be allowed to speak to the media "until they're safe".

Back to back wins, back to back clean sheets whilst low on confidence, chances to score, decent use of players today. Some top management there.

I'm not sure it was only a minute Slother, try 4 months!! We were in absolute (nailed on) relegation form! But I get the gist of the thread. Sigh of relief... onwards and upwards... move on... enjoy our 150 year anniversary game.... etc, etc.. Well done the lads
