Jamo,
Firstly I don't get this wind up accusation which is being thrown at me. You have my word that what I post is what I believe. I have said in future I will make it clear when I'm joking. Previously I have said I am not a die hard fan, but I am an ardent football fan. I have watched Stoke live many times and more recently on T.V. My motivation is twofold. Firstly to defend a good manager with a fine record. Secondly to try and get across the risks, as I see it, of sacking Pulis. I accept emotions are running high on this issue but surely we live in a free country where anyone can express their view.

Why are you so passionate about the manager of a club you don't support when it's patently obvious than the vast majority of people who do support that club aren't?

Paul,
You are not reading my words. I have said I am not a die hard fan, like most of you. I am a football fan and a big admirer of what Tony Pulis has achieved. Are only season ticket holders entitled to a view about Stoke?

Geoff don't you think you spend a lot of time on here for somebody who has no connection with Stoke City Football Club? It's a bit odd.

Are only season ticket holders entitled to a view about Stoke? I'm a football fan too fella but I wouldn't have the arrogance to go on to another clubs' message board and attempt (from my point of ignorance) to argue with the natives about the merits of their manager. Well accept if I was on a wind up like ... And even then I wouldn't have the teremity to return once I'd been caught out for not knowing what I was talking about.

sandbank,
I would imagine the issues around Tony Pulis will be sorted soon. I would not expect to spend the same time on here after that.

And even stranger to suggest to people investing a small fortune (both in monetary form and in time spent) that we should be just accept our lot and be grateful. What he doesn't get is we are grateful for what Tone has DONE but not what he's DOING now.

Are you an electro magnetic cyborg sent back through time to change the course of the future and the lives of thousands of currently unhappy Stoke fans? Maybe if you told us more about yourself we might understand where your point of view is coming from?

At the end of the day there is more to a saturday afternoon than the big picture to a paying supporter after a hard weeks graft, they want to be entertained for 90 minutes and if not for 90 minutes, at least some of it.

Are only season ticket holders entitled to a view about Stoke? No but some of your constant ramblings on most threads directed by those "more passionate" than you reek of wummage... especially as you bang on about his "fine record" the past 18 months have been a far cry from the Pulis Stoke City we all came to love that little bit more than we ever could imagine... 18 months is FAR too long for any manager!

Guys,
This is message board, lighten up. If Tony Pulis leaves so be it. You don't like his football methods, that's fine. There are many more important things in the world for us all to be worried about.

Stoke have just been to an FA Cup final and have money to spend on a European campaign so I can't work out why you're here.....

There are many more important things in the world for us all to be worried about. This is correct, there are other things to worry about other than football, only this is a football forum. Geoff, In the highly unlikely event you are TP or are close to TP then tell him to be honest during interviews.. if the team have put in a poor performance, tell it like it is instead of trying to mug the supporters off with bullshit. Tell him to admit he got it wrong this year and there is change on the way in his mentality & approach.. Honesty and will to change for the better in many aspects of his current 'philosophy' will go a long way. I for one appreciate the physical, pressing football but there has to be a sprinkling of players who can offer that bit extra and entertain, also players need to be in their correct positions. That is the Holy Grail for Pulis people have been patient waiting for the day this will happen.

The club has to make the best decision for it's future and whenever TP does go he deserves to be remembered permanently for making a huge contribution , it might have dipped in the past couple of years but up to the Cup final his second spell was outstanding .
