Because before that we averaging about 1.5 points per game ( even if we were still playing shit ).
Since then, we are averaging about 0.4ish per game, and playing even worse, against teams that we got results from earlier in the season.
So what the fuck happened in the January window, that has seen us going fron potential Europa contendants, too fucking relegation candidates?
Something must be amiss behind the scenes.

TP shat himself because we conceded 3 goals at home vs Southampton.

I think people look way too far into it.
Before Christmas we had one of the best defensive records and managed to get 0-0 draws and 1-0 wins. Now we've lost that form at the back, and we haven't improved at the other end, which results in Opponent X - 0 Stoke

Now we've lost that form at the back, and we haven't improved at the other end, which results in Opponent X - 0 Stoke I've always thought that it was that simple. We were doing extraordinarily well at the back, which in turn masked the woeful deficiencies elsewhere in the line-up. When that form winked out, we were left with very, very little.

Wilson's injury brought the left back problem to a head. Whelan, who'd been at his best, went down to his worst. Adam had his family tragedy and TP took the chance not to play him again....I reckon that might have been part of Whelan's problem. Jones and Jerome stopped getting enough time to turn the game round, which they'd done more than once. Matty's history of injuries came back to haunt him. Plus, when times get bad, maybe you'd do better with Sorensen standing behind you kicking your arse than Berkovic. So all the little things built up and Pulis had no answer to them.

He dropped Adam and brought Shitten in! Plus he threw a mardy because Coates would not allow him to waste anymore of his millions. I still believe this is all being done for some Pulis vengeful get back at you kind of vindictive thing he has going on!

Yes - it really is that simple. And it's not like our utter shiteness up front is a new thing; January 2012 would be a better start point for when it started to sour at Stoke in a big way.

Well pulis wanted spend money we haven't got and he didn't like Coates spending 6 million on the academy that could be one theory anyway

I remember a lot of pre-season worries were about 1) why hadn't we got a left-back 2) why was Pulis buying so many midfielders, as if since he didn't know what to do with a midfielder and so seemed to be getting in loads for security and 3) what was the Owen thing all about. Seems the worries were justified in the end.
