1 shot in the 92nd minute isn't good enough I'm afraid in my eyes.

QPR and Reading are as good as down. But the other place could go to any one from 10th downwards. We need to sort our selves out. We are garbage at the moment. Dinosaur out at the end of the season.

1 shot in the 92nd minute isn't good enough I'm afraid in my eyes. Spot on, nowhere near good enough..... What does everyone think about TPs comments on the Skysports website whereby he states that if Stoke City stay in the Premier league this season ip then it's been a great season?

I simply cannot believe how negative we were yesterday. I honestly think Pulis was looking for a point from the off!

I thought the performance was again quite negative. I did take some positives though as i thought the back four was very good individually and as a unit. I thought Matty worked very hard and was quite exciting but let himself down with some of his crossing. Unfortunately the same people let us down Crouch,Walters,Whelan very poor again. Sad to see in a game we really needed to win the cage was their second half for all to see with Whitehead and Nzonzi stifled. Lets hope we dont run out of winnable games and find three points soon.

Lescott leaving Man City? only £4 million? can play LB - bargain - 30 years old however
Wages???? may be a stumbling block
Would he want to come here? Who would consider coming here at the moment?

He's not what I'd want at left back but if TP is still here and we don't get relegated then he's about as ideal a TP left back as there is. I could see him going back to Everton though. If he was available and we stay up I'd love to see Milner here. Probably unrealistic but Milner is a very good central midfielder and if given license to go up and down would be excellent for any side out of the top 4 imo.

Ooops, I missed the first part...so apols if you have covered it but;
What did you guys make of Peter Coates' video on the Sentinel website (was it Wednesday?) and his backing of Pulis?
Your Uncle will turn into your Auntie before Coates would sack him before the end of the season but (and assuming we do stay up) what do you think the Summer will bring?
And in the same vein, what would precipitate TP's removal?
Less than 40 points?
Below 14th (our lowest finishing position so far)?
Or will TP only ever go if Peter Coates does?

Buying 30 year old's who are on huge wages isn't how to achieve self sustainability.

Buying 30 year old's who are on huge wages isn't how to achieve self sustainability. Yup! Hopefully (again if we stay up) we'll be after the likes of that Pieters bloke again. I have no idea if he's any good but 15 caps for the Dutch suggests he might be. A player of that ilk is what we should be after.

Buying 30 year old's who are on huge wages isn't how to achieve self sustainability. Just highlighting the news I agree with the wages policy at the club and Lescott is probably out of our league financially - I was very surprised at the low price suggested considering left backs are few and far between.

I know he played there a bit for Everton but he's barely a left back. That's why he's ideal for Tone. He ticks every box.

Am I the only person who thinks we could get something from Everton next week?. With them missing both Pienaar and Fellaini it will be the best time to play them. Fingers crosses for a point

Possible successor to Pulis
Love to see Steve McClaren but get the feeling that he may go to the England U21 and unlikely consider us.
Poyet? any 2nd in charge coaches around?

Guys - as it's all gloom and doom and As this is Stoke City we are talking about, what are the odds that we get relegated in our 150 year on the brink of a financial windfall.
It's the sort of thing that only we would do to 'celebrate' such an auspicious occasion

Honestly i cant see where were going get three more points from ? Defending isn't the problem , Its that we can score from open play we heavily depend on set pieces or penalty's ? we play a style where tbh we don't get that many chances in a game. so why didn't pulis buy a prolific forward who is lethal in that final third who can finish his chances.
Everton V Stoke 0 points Stoke V Aston Villa 1 point Stoke V Man Utd 0 points QPR V Stoke 0 points Stoke V Norwich 1 point Sunderland V Stoke 0 points Stoke V Tottenham 0 points Southampton V Stoke 0 points
leaving us with a total of 36 points and this is very worrying. Will it keep us up ? maybe but its going be close.

The question was who would you like to see!!!! McClaren spoke last week about positive football - showing attacking football from the start ..... Sounded like just what we need right now Any other more realistic suggestions come in?
