Danny Rose looks impressive as an attacking full-back. Seb Larsson oozes class as well.
Sunderland are probably underachieving this season.

We know you are on the Mackems but Jesus wept! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif) (I agree with you though, mate. Their midfield looks far better, just shaky at the back.)

If it was a defender and not the goalkeeper that had done the same would it not have been a foul? Is a defender allowed to raise his hands like that?
It's no different from a defender, in the wall at a free kick, raising his hands to protect his face. Its a foul.
The keeper had plenty of time to ensure his arms were out of the way.

They seem too similar.

It was probably because he went out with his arms raised as if he was trying to save it. And of course if his arms weren't up it wouldn't have accidentally hit one anyway ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

I wouldn't mind Johnson in our team.

Norwich have been utterly cheated here today - Rose was in the box = penalty...

What horrific refereeing
If it was more obviously in the box the ref wouldn't have blown for a penalty.

Stonewall penalty. Chris Foy really is hopeless.

Holy shit I can hardly believe what I am watching here. Why wasn't that a penno?

Is it just me that thought Grant Holt jumped in on the keeper then as well?

If Sunderland don't nick this, there's going to be some serious Mackem discontent.
Could get some O'Neill Out action.

Sunderland are still shit against 10 men No cutting edge have they? What the hell's happened to Adam Johnson as well? Looks a shadow of the player that went to Man City.

Is it just me that thought Grant Holt jumped in on the keeper then as well? Thought the same mate. He realised he'd over run it and lunged in with both feet. Straight red in my book. Fortunately Ming olay didn't follow the O'neil 'roll around like you've been shot until you get someone sent off' tactic and got straight up. Probably saved Holt a red.

Both teams have looked even worse than we have recently. So even more reason for me to think we're not the worst team in the land like some suggest.

Agree on Sunderland though. Awful - there's a shitstorm heading MON's way. Their fans are thoroughly pissed off.

Fair play to Houghton, his work on the team shape was there for all to see. He's one of the few people I would want to replace TP when he finally leaves (in a few years time) ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

Norwich were absolutely terrific. Thats what you call "unlucky". Even when down to 10 men they should have had a penno and always looked a threat going forward. Very good performance and anyone who thinks we will easily turn them over in a few weeks is sadly mistaken.

Sunderland have looked about shite all season on a par with us really. Similar attritional football with no cutting edge despite spending an absolute fortune on strikers. I used to rate MON but the team are really punching well below their level. They have some very decent players but the manager struggles to get them playing well. This season he has looked like TP's soulmate in boring the shit out of supporters. Wonder if he is getting similar grief to TP?

Sunderland were woeful second half.
I thought we were the only Prem team who could magically make a team with ten look like they had the extra man.
